Mark BondMark Bond (Reverend Arthur Humphrey) says his wife convinced him to try out for part in the local theater production. He enjoyed it. The local director suggested that he try out for a part in her Broadway style review. He was cast in a speaking part as well as a part in the choir. Over the last few months he has been in two productions. He has been able to see and experience the inner workings of a play. When GIDEON ended, he was left wanting more…and so here he is!
David CarrollDavid Carroll (Reverend Lionel Toop) had no training and little prior experience when he auditioned for SEE HOW THEY RUN—he simply wanted to see how well he would do. He is proud to join the rest of the delightful cast for his first major role in a stage production. As a lover of music, David enjoys singing and dancing, and is interested in performing in a musical in the future. David thanks his wife, Amber, for her patience, her love, and her support of his hobbies and endeavors.
Hayden CaseyHayden Casey (The Intruder) is a 17-year-old actor. Some of his more notable roles are King Oberon in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM or Lord Byron in MONSTER. He has recently taken an acting class at Artisan Center Theater with Rian Slay, and has been taught by Professor Amber Devlin at Tarrant County College.
Bridie CorbettBridie Marie Corbett (Penelope Toop) is making her Artisan Center Theater debut. She earned her BFA in Theatre Performance from UT Arlington and was most recently seen in the Camp Death Production of ENTER CTHULHU. Some of her favorite past roles include Mollie Ralston in THE MOUSETRAP, Emily in OUR TOWN, and Chava in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Bridie sends her gratitude to all those who support live theatre and makes these productions possible!
Shelby GriffinShelby Griffin (Ida) is an acting student at the University of Texas at Arlington. Previous roles have been Mrs. Varec in THE WATER ENGINE, Schwarzy in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (TCC Southeast), and Mrs. Beaver in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE (Theatre Arlington).
Robert HamiltonRobert Hamilton (Corporal Clive Winton) can hardly believe this is his seventh show at Artisan. A few years ago, he traded in the strawberries and sunglasses in California for the chicken and cheaper cost of living in Texas…and has enjoyed every minute. Acting since high school, Robert has performed in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, INHERIT THE WIND, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, and THE ELEPHANT MAN. He thanks his family and church for their support. Oh, and he thinks that his RUN director is hilarious and that his cast is amazing. When not on stage, Robert can be seen either working at Clayton Youth Enrichment or browsing the Value Menu at Taco Bell.
Mary HannaMary Hanna (Miss Skillon) is thrilled to be playing the part of Miss Skillon in SEE HOW THEY RUN. Her other acting credits include Mrs. Banks/Music Director in MARY POPPINS and Mrs. Pearce in MY FAIR LADY at the Artisan, Edith in JAKE'S WOMEN at the Muskogee Community Theater, and Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE at the U of AR Performing Arts Center. Her hobbies and passions include playing comedic, fun characters in shows, music, sports, beauty pageants, and speaking for her platform for Breast Cancer Awareness. She would like to thank her husband, Michael, for his unwavering support and love.
Michael HannaMichael Hanna (The Bishop of Lax) is pleased to be in this show with his wife, Mary Hanna. He has been supporting in her theater career for many years and was technical support for MY FAIR LADY at Artisan earlier this year. Michael was born in Bury St. Edmunds, England, not so different from the village in SEE HOW THEY RUN. After traveling the USA for many years, he moved here permanently, in 2005. This is Michael’s first role ON stage. He is grateful for the opportunity and loves working with all the wonderful cast members in SEE HOW THEY RUN.
Timothy RaifTimothy Raif (Sergeant Towers) is pleased to be performing in his thirteenth show at the Artisan, having most recently appeared in the Ensemble of THE PIRATE QUEEN. Other shows include PRINCE CASPIAN (Aslan), THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Mr. Van Daan), 42ND STREET (Mac), and THE MIRACLE WORKER (Captain Keller). Timothy has a BA in theater from Texas Wesleyan University. He would like to thank his wife, Suzanne, for supporting him in his theatrical endeavors.
Connie SanchezConnie Sanchez (Director) has directed 100+ productions. She was most recently seen at Artisan in the role of Sister Amnesia in the 2017 production of NUNSENSE. She also co-directed the show with long-time friend, Kelvin Dilks. As a 1983 Texas Wesleyan graduate, Connie cherishes her 30-year teaching career (26 years at Haltom High School) in Birdville ISD where she taught theatre (15 years) and English (15 years). Connie would like to thank the Production Staff for their help, the Cast for their devotion, and her husband of 34 years, Reyes, for his love and support.
Caity ShannonCaity Shannon (Stage Manager) is happy to be in her first show at Artisan Theater. She has been in several other productions at her school such as Big Bad Wolf in FAIRY TALE LAW AND ORDER, Florence in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, and Viney in THE MIRACLE WORKER. She would like to thank her parents for their support and Director Connie for this new adventure.
