SYNOPSIS - Musical
“No more Hard Knock Life” for Annie! – at least not after the spunky redheaded 11 year old is plucked from her dreary NYC orphanage to spend Christmas with billionaire “Daddy Warbucks.” Set during the Depression, Annie shows everyone from the Hooverville Shanties to FDR and his “Brain Trust” that despite whatever tough times come along, “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow!” This heartwarming show has become an international sensation!

Michael is very pleased to be a part of ANNIE. His other acting credits include: NUPTIALS (Mark Sinclair) and THE WIZARD OF OZ (Chorus). He last appeared as Lt. Buzz Adams and Cmdr. Harbison in SOUTH PACIFIC here at Artisan. He would like to thank Taffy for the opportunity, wife, family, and friends for their encouragement and support.

Role: Sandy the dog
Remi is overjoyed to be a part of ANNIE. This is his debut acting performance, and he is so happy that he can’t stop wagging his tail. He enjoys playing with his brothers and sisters, going on walks, squeaky toys, treats, and meeting new people. He would like to thank Ms. Taffy for the opportunity as well as his parents and grandparents for making him a spoiled rotten diva.
Eden Ashley
Role: Lady Servant/Sound Effects Person/Homeless Person
Eden is pleased to be in her first Artisan production. She has also done shows with Carnegie Players and Plaza. Her favorite role was that of featured dancer in THE MUSIC MAN. Although Eden hasn't always had the best of luck on stage (remember that time when she lost her skirt?), she actually loves dancing. Eden is a junior in high school (homeschooled) and attends Travis Academy of Fine Arts. She is excited to finally be in a show with two of her very best friends – Laura and Addie! Eden gives thanks to God, her Savior, for blessing her beyond measure with all good things.
Ellie Ashley
Role: July
Ellie is thrilled to be in her first Artisan play. Ellie’s favorite role to date has been Lucy in Carnegie Players production of THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE. She last appeared as Amaryllis in THE MUSIC MAN at Plaza Theater. Ellie is home schooled, and attends Travis Academy of Fine Arts where she has done a number of Musical Extravaganzas. She enjoys singing, acting and making people laugh. Ellie would like to thank her mom and dad, and Jesus Christ for loving her and always knowing just what she needs.
Lulu Ashley
Role: Molly
Lulu is enjoying her first ever speaking role. She is 7, home schooled and likes to sing, dance and play piano. She was previously seen in THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE as Mouse#2 with Carnegie Players. Although fairly new to the stage, Lulu is no stranger to the spotlight. Being the youngest in a family of 5 girls, she has had plenty of opportunity to be dramatic. She would like to thank her sisters for helping her learn her lines, her mom for being the chauffeur and her dad for paying the bills.
Juanita Bloodgood
Role: Star-to-be/Ronnie Boylan
Juanita is very excited to be part of ANNIE. She was recently seen as Cosette in LES MISERABLES here at Artisan. Other recent show she has been part of is LITTLE WOMEN in Grand Prairie Arts Council. Her last two years in Varsity Choir she has made All-Region choir as a Soprano 1 ranking #3, And All-State Choir. She is a Senior at Nolan Catholic HighSchool and will be majoring in Vocal Performances next fall! She would like to thank her mom, her sister Renata, and her voice teacher for always supporting her in her music career. "Opportunities don't often come along. Alison is very excited to be part of ANNIE! Her other Artisan acting credits include: LES MISERABLES (Young Cosette), MARY POPPINS (Mary Poppins), BRIGADOON (Chorus), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Rizzo). She takes voice, piano and dance classes. Her dream is to someday be on Broadway.
Annie Brown
Role: Gina
Annie is thrilled to be a part of ANNIE. This is her first acting experience. Annie has many interests including soccer, piano, reading, singing, and dancing. Her all time favorite activity is cooking. She is a little sister to Elena and a big sister to Eli and Maxwell. Annie is a Kindergartner. She would like to thank her director, Taffy, for giving her this opportunity. She's having the time of her life.
Elena Brown
Role: Tessie
Elena is very excited to play the role of Tessie in ANNIE. This is her first experience in theater. Elena's other interests include soccer, piano, reading, gymnastics, and writing. She is a fourth grader and a big sister to Annie, Eli, and Maxwell. Elena would like to thank her Mom for helping her get ready to audition for ANNIE and for getting her interested in musical theater.
Rachel Browning
Role: Kate
Rachel is a fourth-grader at Christian Life Prep. This is her second performance at Artisan, her first being in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE last year. Rachel’s recent performances include Amaryllis in THE MUSIC MAN and Marta in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (both at Plaza) and Amber in HAIRDO (Plano Children's Theatre). She has also sung with the Fort Worth Opera children’s chorus at the Bass Hall. Rachel has been studying dance and piano for several years, with a special love for Irish dance. Much love and thanks to Taffy for giving her this part, and for being such a great director!
Donna Cates
Role: Mrs. Pugh/Francis Perkins
Donna says her favorite roles at Artisan have been Constance in THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, Sister Mary Regina in NUNSENSE, and herself in SWING! Donna enjoys spending her free time doing shows with her children. She would like to thank God for her parents, her family, her friends, and for her children, who are the lights of her life!
Taryn Cates

Taryn is thrilled to be a part of Annie at Artisan! She recently played Young Cosette in LES MISERABLES-School Edition and her favorite role was Tootie in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS-both at Artisan. Taryn has also enjoyed roles at Theatre Arlington and CATS. Taryn is an A honor roll student, enjoys Girls In Action and playing volleyball and basketball. Taryn would like to thank her mom, her brother, her grandparents, the rest of her family and friends, and God for her wonderful life.
Tevin Cates
Role: Jimmy Johnson/Policeman/Servant
Tevin most recently appeared in the as Jolly and the Bishop in LES MISERABLES-School Edition at Artisan. His favorite roles include Mouthpiece in WEST SIDE STORY, Jesse Aarons in BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA at Theatre Arlington, and Albert in BYE BYE BIRDIE at Bailey Junior High. He is a member of National Junior Honor Society and has earned his second degree black belt. He would like to thank his family and friends, and God for all His blessings!
Louise Childs
Role: Mrs. Greer/Woman 4
Louise has been involved in theater for over 40 years in Victoria B.C. and now in Texas. She has donated many hours of volunteer service to several theaters and organizations in the Irving general area, including Artisan. She runs a daycare in her home and teaches two mornings a week at Little Hearts preschool. Her first production at Artisan was THE SOUND OF MUSIC and has since been in THE MUSIC MAN (Eulalie Shinn), CINDERELLA, HARVEY, and MY FAIR LADY (Mrs. Higgins), OKLAHOMA, STEEL MAGNOLIAS (Clairee), and asst. stage manager for THE MIKADO. In Victoria she was in MY FAIR LADY, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, GUYS AND DOLLS (twice as Matilda Cartwright), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and YEOMAN OF THE GUARD; plus working crew, props and front of house in numerous productions. She Produced KISS ME KATE and was stage manager of STEEL MAGNOLIAS. She has been singing and dancing since she was two and still loves it today. Louise thanks her husband Jim for his patience with her efforts.
Chili

Chili is very excited to be making her Artisan debut in ANNIE. Chili was born on a ranch in Bryan, Texas. When she was two years old, she came to live with the Molina family and her brothers Robert and Michael. She enjoys playing with her sister Poochy, chasing cats, and eating socks. Chili would like to thank Robert for all the training and treats; Scout and Taffy for giving her this amazing opportunity.
Emma Colwell
Role: Annie
Emma claims her favorite roles include Lucy Pevensie in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE at Artisan, and Mary Lennox in THE SECRET GARDEN at CATS. She also enjoys writing scripts and pet sitting. Emma would like to thank God, who as a wise lady once said, “Is your best casting agent.” Additional thanks to Mrs. Taffy, DeeAnn and Rick Blair, and her family, for helping her to do what she loves best.

is blessed to be able to share this experience with his daughter. Tyler Cox

Tyler is making his third appearance on the Artisan's stage, and he is excited about being a part of the show. His past acting credits at Artisan are FORGOTTEN CAROLS (Narrator) and MY FAIR LADY (Col. Pickering). Other theater experiences have centered around church, including A CHRISTMAS CAROL – THE MUSICAL (Scrooge) and KINGDOM OF GRACE (Jechoniah). Tyler thanks his wife Canda and his family for their love and support.

Caroline is thrilled to be making her debut on the Artisan stage! It’s a dream come true for her. Christina is excited to be making her debut at Artisan. Former credits include Rockette/Orphan Dancer in ANNIE and Townsgirl/Featured Dancer in THE MUSIC MAN (both at Bass Hall), the Tap Dancing Mona Lisa in LUCKY STIFF (Tarrant County College), as well as many others. She would like to thank Gene Kelly for being for inspiration.
Jeff Florence

Jeff is back performing on Artisan's stage and we are sure pleased about that! He was last seen at Artisan in THE BOOK OF JOB and I LOVE A PIANO. Other shows in the Metroplex include MUSIC MAN, SWEENEY TODD, JC SUPERSTAR, and SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE. Jeff loves to sing, ride his Harley motorcycle with his wife, Christy, and just hanging out with friends. B, B, and B on ice... just another day in paradise! Life is Good!
Joey Geisel
Role: Rooster
Joey is jazzed that his third time in ANNIE finally gets to “Easy Street”!! J In real life, Joey teaches guitar and church music at Travis Academy of Fine Arts, and finds creative ways to use his B.S. in RTVF and Theatre from Texas Christian University, composing and sound designing for stage and screen (I’m on iTunes!! Woot!). Favorite shows include Artisan’s LION, WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE (Tumnus “Column Award” nominated), BIG RIVER (Tom Sawyer), THE MIRACLE WORKER (James Keller), and Dennis in the SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN series (multiple runs at Artisan and Plaza) as well as Dennis in ALL SHOOK UP (Plaza) and Cinderella’s Prince in INTO THE WOODS (CATS). Thanks to parents and Caro (miss you!), Curt, Daniel, Jonathan, Tony, and the Macs, and ultimately the Giver who gifts regardless of deserving-ness (James 1:17).
Bonnie Gentry

Bonnie is excited to return to the Artisan stage in Annie. Her most recent credits include playing July in ANNIE (CATS). Other favorite roles include Edwina in DEAR EDWINA, JR and Violet in BOXCAR KIDS. Bonnie enjoys dancing, singing, reading, writing, and horseback riding. She is always thrilled to share the stage with her Daddy and brothers. Bonnie dedicates all her performances to the Glory of Her Risen Savior! Psalm 149:3 "Let them praise His name with dancing."
Eric Gentry
Role: Bert Healy/Eddie/Cordell Hull
Eric was last seen on the Artisan stage as Doc in WEST SIDE STORY. Other favorite roles have been Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Bob Cratchett in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, both at CATS. Eric's all time favorite role continues to be Dad to four wonderful children! He is an Executive Recruiter by day. Desiring to see children have opportunity to grow in their creative abilities, Eric serves on the board of Creative Arts Theatre and School (CATS) in Arlington. Psalm 27:14
Lynsey Hale
Role: Woman 1/Dog Catcher
Lynsey is so happy to be a part of ANNIE. Her other acting credits include: NUPTIALS (Jeannette Stovall), THE WIZARD OF OZ (Chorus), and performing improvisational comedy at Mouth in Dallas. She last appeared as Genevieve Quale in SOUTH PACIFIC at Artisan. She would like to thank Taffy for the opportunity, her husband, parents, and friends for their encouragement and support.
Darin Hobbs
Role: Morganthau/Judge Brandeis/Homeless Person
Darin is excited to be in his second performance at Artisan. He played Cord Elam in OKLAHOMA at Artisan this past spring. Other roles include Fred Anderson in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Charlie Cotchapee in PURLIE, Ghost of Christmas Past in CHRISTMAS IS COMING UPTOWN and The Executioner in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Elise is ecstatic to perform in her first show at Artisan. Her former roles have been The Fairy in A MOTHERS DAY FAIRYTALE, Toy Soldier in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Athena in MISSION POSSIBLE, and Star Bright in VISIONS OF CHRISTMAS - all at FBC Hurst. She also played Elise in many REMOTE CONTROL FAMILY SKITS, at FBC Hurst. Elise would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her, and would also like to thank her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jackie is thrilled to working with Taffy and Staff again! She was last seen as Clairee in STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Her favorite role is still Reverend Mother in NUNSENSE, with Edwina Holcomb from RUNNING IN THE RED and Carla from CARLA'S SONG close behind. She has performed in many shows in the DFW area. Jackie has a BA in Accounting and a BFA/Performance. She is married to the best man in the world, the mother of six adult children, grandmother of 3. She feels very blessed to get to work with this talented group of people - cast, crew and staff. "Thank you, Dale, for letting me play."

Meredith is thrilled to be back on the stage at Artisan, after spending most of her time in the audience! Previous roles include Fairy Godmother in CINDERELLA, Maude in THE MUSIC MAN and Grandma Tzeitl in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. J’Shaun Jones

J'Shaun is happy about being in ANNIE. She is a member of Empowering Grace Church. She has participated in plays at First Baptist Church of Hurst and Camp El Tesoro. She is an active youth at her church as well as Girls Scouts. J'Shuan likes reading, math, and taking acting/dance classes at Artisan. J'Shuan would like to thank God, the director, and her family for their support.
Malcolm Jones
Role: Lt. Ward/Louis Howe
Malcolm is excited to be a part of ANNIE. He is an active member of Empowering Grace Church where he is a Youth Leader. He is the husband of SheLeesa and father of two, Jireh and J'Shuan. Malcolm enjoys volunteering at Artisan, football, basketball, and doing exciting things with family and friends. Malcolm would like to give thanks to Jesus, who is the head of his life.
SheLeesa Jones
Role: Assistant Dog Catcher/Homeless Person
SheLeesa is very excited about her new experience in acting and singing. She is an active member of Empowering Grace Church where she is a Youth Leader. She is the wife of Malcolm and mother of two, Jireh and J'Shuan. SheLeesa's hobbies include praise dancing, Girl Scouts, volunteering at Artisan; and she enjoys family and friends. Cheryl King
Role: Miss Hannigan
Cheryl is thrilled to be making her second appearance at Artisan. She was recently seen in SOUTH PACIFIC as Quale, Lead Nurse. Her credits include ANNIE, GET YOUR GUN (Annie), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Chava), OKLAHOMA (Laurie), 45 MINUTES FROM BROADWAY (Mary), SOUTH PACIFIC (Nellie), CINDERELLA (Fairy Godmother) and many more! She holds a Bachelor of Music from The University of Texas , where she majored in Vocal Performance. She taught elementary music and some theatre arts for many years before 'redirecting' in 2008.
Laura Lester
Role: Lily St. Regis
Laura is thrilled to be returning for her 9th Artisan production. Laura most recently portrayed Annelle in Artisan's STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Past favorite roles include Caroline Bingley in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, Pitti-Sing in THE MIKADO, Sister Leo in NUNSENSE, Joy in CINDERELLA, and Martha in THE ARK. Laura is a 2006 graduate of Texas Christian University and is currently a school nurse for the HEB ISD. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the amazing Artisan theater for their encouragement and support. She would also like to thank her wonderful husband for his love, and for believing in her dream.
Teri McHargue

Teri is thrilled to back on the stage at Artisan and performing with such a talented cast of actors, singers and dancers. Past credits include THE BOOK OF JOB, CINDERELLA (the Stepmother), WALKING ACROSS EGYPT (Alora Swanson), THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE (Mrs. Beaver), and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS (Constance). Teri wishes to thank DeeAnn and Taffy for this tremendous opportunity to work and “play” with these talented actors of all ages! Andrea Mills

Andrea says that while she hasn't been in any theater plays before, she has been in the NCFCA and done many individual speech interpretations. She loves going on adventurous travels: living on a small Honduran island for three months and camping in a tent for month in six states. She loves unicycling, camping, hiking, singing, sports, decorating/designing/building things, playing guitar/piano, swing dancing, and working with children. She thanks her mother for taking her where she needs to go and Lori Weber for voice and audition training.
Bonnie Mills
Role: Connie Boylan/Woman 2
Bonnie was in THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES at Starlight Theater. She also did speech interpretation in the NCFCA. She loves traveling. She spent a month tent camping in five states and lived on an Honduran island (Utila) for three months. She loves playing piano and guitar, gardening, singing, unicycling, and drawing. She thanks her mom for taking her to all the rehearsals and Lori Weber for helping her prepare for auditions.
Michael Molina

Michael is so excited to be in his first production at Artisan. He has been in several productions locally including Richard Mason in JANE EYRE, Sports Fan in GODSPELL, and Bumps in SLEEPING BEAUTY OF LORELAND. His most favorite role was Richard Mason. In his free time, Michael enjoys biking on the Trinity Trails with his brother. Michael would like to thank Miss Taffy for taking a chance on him and his brother Robert for introducing him to Artisan.
Kayden Moore

Kayden is very excited to be a part of ANNIE. Her other acting credits include Shirley in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGENT EVER and Toto in WIZARD OF OZ with The Greater Carnegie Players. She last appeared as The March Hare in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JR with Artie's Playhouse at Artisan. She is a 5th grader with a passion for acting. “Thank you to mom and dad for driving me to rehearsals and shows. Thank you to Ms. Taffy for giving me the opportunity to be an orphan.”
Jennifer Moore
Role: Assistant Dog Catcher/Homeless Woman
Jennifer is thrilled to be a part of the Annie cast. She has also performed in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGENT EVER and WIZARD OF OZ with The Greater Carnegie Players. She loves being able to be in shows with her daughter, Kayden. Jennifer is the mother of four fabulous children and works full time as the school nurse at Southwest Christian School. Thank you to Ms. Taffy for thinking of me, thanks to my family for the chance to play, and thank you most of all to GOD, my Heavenly Father.
Michelle Neat
Role: Apple Seller/Lady Servant/Usherette
Michelle is so excited to be a part of ANNIE. Oher credits include THE HOBBIT, BYE BYE BIRDIE and PETER PAN (all performed at Richland High School). She loves peanut butter and enjoy singing and being involved with AMTC (Actors, Models, Talent for Christ). She would like to first thank God, the amazing cast and crew, her parents, her amazing, supportive boyfriend Nick, and Ms. Taffy Giesel!
Dan Nolen, Jr.
Role: Drake/Homeless Person (M/F/Sat-M)
Dan is delighted to be involved with his 54th show at Artisan: 26 on stage and 28 directing, doing sets, props and costumes. Recent roles were Andrew Carnes in OKLAHOMA and Mayor Shinn in THE MUSIC MAN. Favorite roles include Norman Thayer, Jr. in ON GOLDEN POND which earned him Best Actor award in 2003, Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Grandpa in YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, and Goveror in BEST LITTLE ... IN TEXAS. As always, he thanks his wonderful wife of 44 years, Connie, for her love, support and patience.
Madison O’Brien

Madison is very excited for the opportunity to perform on the Artisan stage. This is her first of what she hopes to be many more shows. She has enjoyed competition dancing and loves clogging. She plays the piano and performs with Vocal Blessings. “Thank you Taffy, for this opportunity to expand my talents.”
Savannah Paleschic
Role: Apple Seller/Lady Servant/Usherette
Savannah is excited to be in ANNIE. Other productions she has been in are THE MUSIC MAN at Christ Chapel Bible Church and YANKEE DOODLE DANDIES at CATS. She has played piano for eight years and enjoys sketching, painting, writing, and reading. She would like to thank her family for always being there and Mrs. Geisel for encouraging her.
Paris Patterson
Role: Betsy
Paris has performed at Bass Hall with the Texas Children’s choir and the Scott Theater in the Kids Who Care’s THE CHRISTMAS CAROL. She has performed in numerous plays and musicals at school, for Salt & Light Productions, and Tarrant County College. She is currently performing in BABE'S IN TOYLAND for Artie's Playhouse and BYE BYE BIRDIE at school. She plays the piano, plays golf, competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, sings and performs.
Tammie Phillips
Role: Sophie
Tammie is lovingly known around our theater as "Prop Momma", but she is thrilled to be part of the cast onstage as well as backstage. She would like to thank Taffy, for given her such a fun role to do, her family for their love and support and her savior, Jesus Christ, for giving her the gifts and talents she has. It is her goal to always strive to use them for His glory, honor and praise!

Addie is thrilled to be making her Artisan debut! Some of her past roles include Sharpay in Plaza's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, Featured Dancer in ALL SHOOK UP, and Raja in Travis Academy of Fine Arts’ I NEVER SAW ANOTHER BUTTERFLY. Outside of theater, Addie enjoys singing, reading, and being with her marvelous friends and family! Addie would like to thank her glorious God for blessing her with the opportunity to be in this show, as well as her spectacular family for loving and supporting her!
Avery Presson

Avery is thrilled to be making her debut at Artisan! Previously she has performed with the Cleburne Carnegie Players, TAFA Players, and Plaza Theatre Company. Her favorite productions thus far have been HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, and ALL SHOOK UP. She is delighted to be performing along side this talented cast and crew under the direction of Taffy Geisel, her RAFA drama teacher. And she's glad to have Joey as her music director again. Role: Grace Farrell
Elizabeth is glad to be “Grace”-ing the stage of Artisan in this production. She was last seen in THE FEMALE ODD COUPLE. Other credits include Shakespeare’s MERCHANT OF VENICE, PYGMALION, and her favorite role thus far, Jadis, in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE here at Artisan. Elizabeth is a full-time student and also works part-time; she thanks God for not allowing her head to pop off in all this busyness!
Victoria Price
Role: Ruthie
Victoria is overjoyed to be performing once again at Artisan. She played a Mouse in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE. Other show credits include, ONCE UPON A TIME CLOCK as Victoria and SHERLOCK HOLMES in the ensemble. She hopes to follow in the footsteps of Daddy Warbucks and one day become a billionaire, and adopt a TON of little orphan Annies. Victoria thanks God, Taffy, and her supportive family.
David Priddy
Role: Drake/Homeless Person
David loves theater and music. He’s performed in such Artisan shows as OKLAHOMA, MIKADO and THE MUSIC MAN, and with Taffy in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE as the Professor. He participates in the music and drama ministry at FBC Hurst. Approximately 0.01% of you may have seen him as Desmond Darkacre in the melodrama CHASTITY WILDFLOWER when he was in high school, one of his most memorable roles. John 14:18
Lloyd Priddy
Role: Morganthau/Judge Brandeis/Homeless Person
Lloyd is looking forward to his first performance at Artisan in ANNIE. He has played a Jailer and a Charity Man in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. He has directed many choirs and musical productions as a Minister of Music for over 40 years. He is thankful to God for letting him serve in church music and for his family.
Molly Priddy

Molly is delighted to join several family members in ANNIE. Her recent roles include The Ghost of Christmas Present and a Char Woman in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL at Hurst FBC. Her experiences include production manager, directing and acting in school, church and community theater. Thanking God for His blessings this retired school teacher enjoys art, her church music program, and being with family.
Omega Priddy

Omega is happy to be playing in ANNIE. She played a mouse in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE and Grace Smythe in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. She plays the harp and the piano and is active in the Girls In Action mission ministry at FBC Hurst. She looks forward to other theater and music opportunities.
Caroline Probasco

Caroline is very excited to be in this production of ANNIE! Her favorite roles include Yertle the Turtle in SEUSSICAL, JR and Blue Bird in LION, WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE. When she's not acting, Caroline enjoys reading, practicing oboe, and hanging out with friends, and performing violin with the Lone Star Youth Orchestra in Irving. Catherine is very excited to be in ANNIE! This is her 17th show at Artisan. Her favorite roles include Michael in PETER PAN and Wickersham Monkey in SEUSSICAL, JR. Mary Claire Probasco

Mary Claire is happy to be in ANNIE! Prior to ANNIE, Mary Claire had fun in the cast of BRIGADOON, NUPTIALS, and several Artie's Playhouse productions. When she's not at the theater, Mary Claire loves playing on her swing, reading, and playing her violin. She would like to thank Miss Taffy for directing the show, and Amy for helping her dance, and Scout for helping with her script.
Tasia Robinson

Tasia claims ANNIE as her fifth main stage production at Artisan. She appeared in OKLAHOMA, LES MISERABLES, and has done many Artie’s Playhouse productions. Other acting credits include Margalo in STUART LITTLE at Theatre Arlington, Wickersham Brother in SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL at Casa Manana, and Munchkin/Monkey/Rapper in OZ THE MUSICAL at the Majestic Theater. Tasia wants to attend college in New York to be close to Broadway and thanks her Mom for all her support.
Khloe Rooke
Role: Candace
Khloe has performed in many productions at Christ Chapel Bible Church. Last fall she performed in the full production of MUSIC MAN. Khloe also performed in the Musical Extravaganza at Travis Academy of Fine Arts, which included the pieces “Never Fully Dressed without a Smile” from ANNIE, “Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah”, and “Be Kind to Your Parents”. Khloe is very excited to be a part of the ANNIE production at Artisan.
Audrey Russell

Audrey is super excited to be a part of ANNIE. Her other credits include THE CHRISTMAS CAROL MIRACLE and DEAR EDWINA at CATS, and several Musical Extravaganzas at Travis Academy of Fine Arts (TAFA). Her favorite role was Annie, a Girl Scout friend of Edwina in DEAR EDWINA. Audrey studies ballet, Irish dance, piano, drama, and sings in the Con Spirito choir at TAFA. She would like to thank Mrs. Geisel for giving her this opportunity and her mom and dad for encouraging her!
Randy Sarver

Randy is happy to be in his 7th Artisan show. Artisan productions include OKLAHOMA! (Ali Hakim), BRIGADOON (Sandy Dean/Frank), WEST SIDE STORY (Schrank), and THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE (Aslan). He looks forward to being in many more great Artisan productions.
Abigail Scarborough

Abigail is making her Artisan Debut in ANNIE. Her acting credits include my MY EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES, THE MUSIC MAN, and THE CHRISTMAS CAROL MIRACLE, and more. She is a sophomore at UTA studying Business and Theatre. She enjoys reading, going to see plays, and spending time with friends and family. Kyle Scarborough
Role: Franklin D. Roosevelt
Kyle is making his Artisan debut in ANNIE. He is thrilled to be doing a show with three of his daughters, whom he thinks forced him to audition. Kyle works for a defense contractor, teaches Sunday school at his church, mentors young couples, tries to keep up with his eight children, and in his spare time enjoys reading. He would like to thank his incredible wife Teresa for holding down the fort at home.
Kylie Scarborough

Kylie is so excited about making her Artisan debut in ANNIE. She is also excited about having two of her sisters and her dad in the show with her. Kylie is a part of her church choir and has done several shows with them. She is also currently learning to play piano. Kylie loves riding her bike, going to Starbucks, singing, dancing, and hanging out with her 7 older siblings.
Laura Scarborough

Laura is thrilled to be making her Artisan debut in ANNIE. Her other acting credits include THE MUSIC MAN, THE BIRD’S CHRISTMAS CAROL, and FOLLOW THAT RABBIT. Laura is a senior in high school and attends Travis Academy of Fine Arts, where she takes drama, choir and guitar. Brian Sears

Brian is excited to be in his fourth show at the Artisan. He recently played Lt. Cable in SOUTH PACIFIC, Charlie in BRIGADOON and a Homeless Guy in THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS. Brian grew up in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Weber St. University. He thanks his wife and daughter for love and support – and sometimes joining him on these adventures.
Kenady Shope

Kenady would like to thank the Lord for her talent and the many opportunities He has given her, which include playing Samantha with the American Girl Theater in New York, as well as, Mary in THE SECRET GARDEN, and Helen Keller in THE MIRACLE WORKER at Artisan. She has been seen at Casa Mañana in CINDERELLA, ANNIE and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She thanks her family and friends for their love and support.
Stephen Singleton

Stephen is making his fourth appearance at Artisan and he's thrilled to be working with Taffy Geisel again. The last roll he played at Artisan was Peter in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE. Some of his favorite role include: Snowboy in WEST SIDE STORY, Daniel in 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS, and Rolfe in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. “Thanks to Mom, Dad, Michael, Tim, and Beka; all my friends (including my double), and to my Savior Jesus Christ.”
Jaye Jenny Smith

Jaye Jenny is excited to make her first appearance at Artisan Center Theater and is thankful for the opportunity to play her dream role. Her credits elsewhere include Bubbles in FUNNY GIRL, Queen in CINDERELLA ROCK, Lucinda in INTO THE WOODS, and Mary Catherine in THE DANCERS. Jaye studied dance at the University of Washington and worked for two years as a professional cheerleader for the Arena Football League. She wishes to thank her family and friends for their support.
Anna Taylor

Anna is very excited to make her acting debut on the Artisan stage with the wonderful cast and crew of ANNIE. She is a 5th grader and has always loved dancing, singing and acting. She also loves to play volleyball and do gymnastics. She fell in love with the theater as part of the chorus in JOSEPH AND THE TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT at Southwest Christian School. Jennie Titiryn

Jennie is making her 7th appearance on the Artisan stage. She has been studying theater since the age of four and hasn't stopped since. Her credits include Anybodys in WEST SIDE STORY, Mimi in RENT, Gloria in WAIT UNTIL DARK, Nora in BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, Kitty in NUPTIALS, and Eponine in LES MISERABLES. She enjoys writing and spending time with her amazing friends. She would like to thank her family for their never ending support.
Tyler Vaden

Tyler is ecstatic to be in ANNIE. She has performed in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, BRIGADOON, LES MISERABLES, and ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JR. at Artisan and YANKEE DOODLE DANDIES at CATS Theater. Tyler is grateful to Taffy Geisel for the chance to “play a character with a name”. Diann Wells

Diann is having a wonderful time performing in ANNIE. She recently completed her role in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD as Mrs. Dubose. She has also appeared in other musicals, including THE MUSIC MAN, MY FAIR LADY, THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, and BRIGADOON. She is grateful for the opportunity to be at the Artisan Theater with so many talented people who share her love of the stage. Her mom continues to be a loyal fan and has never missed a performance. She is grateful for her family’s support and she loves them all – husband, children, grandchildren, and most recently, great-grand child -- if you counted, there are five generations to attend this family-friendly theater!
Richard Wooster
Role: Franklin D. Roosevelt
Richard is delighted to be part of the DFW metroplex theater community, and especially happy to join this wonderful cast. Richard has previously appeared in such Artisan productions of THE MIRACLE WORKER, WALKING ACROSS EGYPT, and others. Elsewhere, Richard has performed at Plaza Theatre Company and Arlington's Creative Arts Theatre and School (CATS) where he is a board member. Richard is the proud father of four wonderful children and the devoted husband of Gail, without whose support and encouragement, all this “acting stuff” would not be possible.
Camryn Wright

Camryn is thrilled to be in her first main stage show! Camryn started acting just under a year ago with her debut performance as Patch in 101 DALMATIANS at Artisan and has been in several Artie’s Playhouse productions. Her favorite roles have been as Artie in LUCKY AND THE FAIRIES and Small Alice in ALICE IN WONDRLAND JR. She would like to thank her family and friends for their encouragement, Mrs. Mayes for teaching her so much about acting, and Ms. Geisel for the opportunity to be part of the amazing cast of ANNIE!
Matthew Vogl

Matthew is excited to be in another Artisan production. His favorite roles at Artisan include Thenardier in LES MISERABLES: SCHOOL EDITION and The White Stag in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE. Other favorite roles include Linus in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN and a Who in SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL. Matthew is a senior at Birdville High School and loves being in varsity choir, show choir, and theater. He thanks his Gran for everything she has done for him. “I love you, Gran!”
Alexis Zolligffer

Alexis is making her Artisan debut and is so excited to be part of this ANNIE cast. Alexis portrayed Erika in DO'T U LOV ME? At Dallas Children's Theater. She bullied children at CATS as Too Tall in BERENSTAIN BEARS – THE MUSICAL. She's played various roles during Dallas Summer Musicals camp, Curtains Up at the Majestic Theater. Alexis is working to become a film director.
Taffy Geisel
Role: DIRECTOR
Taffy discovered her passion for theater in kindergarten, when she was cast as the Mean Ugly Step-Flower in CINDERELLA IN FLOWERLAND. Twirling in Tigerlily’s orange crepe paper tutu was pure joy in her 6 year old heart. Taffy received the Star Telegram’s Best Actress award for her portrayal of Miss Hannigan in CATS production of ANNIE, and has performed several times at Artisan as Miss Myrtle, the Church Lady in the SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAINS series. ANNIE is her eighth show to direct at Artisan – having previously directed SOUTH PACIFIC, ANNIE, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, THE MIRACLE WORKER, GODSPELL, and THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE, for which she was nominated for the Column Awards for Best Director. She is looking forward to her next project – directing PRINCE CASPIAN, which she also wrote. Taffy is thankful to her great and mighty Lord, who is the giver of every good gift. Thanks to this terrific cast and crew, who have brought this story so delightfully to life, to Dee Ann and Rick for believing in family friendly theater, to friends who pray, and to Howard, Joey and Caroline, without whom she would not be able to soar.
Scout Harrell

Scout is just as comfortable being backstage as she is being on the stage! She was last seen on the Artisan stage as Liat in SOUTH PACIFIC. Other favorite "on stage" productions include WEST SIDE STORY, GODSPELL, CINDERELLA, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and, yes, ANNIE, when it first played at the Artisan in 2004. Other stage managing productions include LES MISERABLES STUDENT EDITION and THE LION, THE WITCH, and THE WARDROBE. Many thanks to Taffy Geisel whose confidence in Scout has been so encouraging, to Scout's parents for the driving lessons to and from rehearsals, and to the Artisan staff for this opportunity. “Ultimately, all glory goes to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Robert Molina
Role: ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER
Robert is very excited to be part of another Artisan show. Robert has mostly worked behind the scenes at Artisan on shows like LES MISERABLES, SOUTH PACIFIC, and STEEL MAGNOLIAS. But his acting credits go towards BRIGADOON as Charlie Darymple and OKLAHOMA! as Chalmers Elam. Robert has also been onstage as well as working behind the scenes in several Artie’s Playhouse shows. Robert has also been in several shows at the cottage theater including JANE EYRE and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Robert would like to thank his mom for all the love and patience, Scout, Taffy, and everyone on the production staff for putting together another great show.
Brandi Dibler

Brandi is so glad to be back at Artisan after choreographing BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. She is so thankful to be working with such a talented cast and crew. Her choreography credits include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, MY FAIR LADY, HELLO DOLLY! and GUYS AND DOLLS. She would like to thank her loving husband, Scott and her five awesome kids for being so patient while Mommy plays make-believe. Jennifer Cadenhead

Jennifer is pleased to be costuming for a second time at Artisan, the first time being PETER PAN. She has a strong theatrical background including performing, tech work, and stage management. She has worked at several costuming companies, organizing and creating costumes for rent. She most recently played the part of Mayella in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
Nita Cadenhead

Nita is pleased to be working with Dennis again after collaborating on OKLAHOMA at Artisan. She counts CAMELOT as one of her all-time favorite shows and is excited to be a part of the creative team bringing it to life. Amy Jones

Amy is thrilled to be a part of ANNIE! This is her first production as assistant choreographer and her seventh production at Artisan. Amy was seen as Kitty in NUPTIALS and Anne in BELLES ON THEIR TOES. She also was dance captain in OKLAHOMA!, THE MUSIC MAN, and SOUTH PACIFIC. Amy would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support.
