Cameron Barkley (Crow/Winkie General) was last on the Artisan Main Stage in the role of student revolutionary Enjolras in LES MISÉRABLES: SCHOOL EDITION. Other roles include Robertson Ay in MARY POPPINS, Harvey Johnson in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Dickon in SECRET GARDEN, Billy Fisher in TOM SAWYER, Harry Locke in THE MUSIC MAN, Poppa in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Tom Jenkins in SCROOGE, and Irish Pirate in THE PIRATE QUEEN. As a cast member with Artisan Children’s Theater, he has been in over a dozen productions. He’s also enjoyed singing and dancing on the Second Stage in SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU’LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN, RED, WHITE & TRUE BLUE, TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP, and CITY OF STARS. When he’s not singing, dancing, and acting at Artisan, Cameron is a high school senior homeschooler and Eagle Scout. He will be attending the University of North Texas in the Fall.

Hayden Beaty (Mayor/Head Monkey/Oz Kid) is excited to be making his main stage debut at Artisan Center Theater. Mallory Brinkley (Barrister/Jitterbug/Oz Kid) is honored and excited to be part of this fantastic production! Mallory has been busy on stage, most recently playing Annie in MARY POPPINS, Bluebird in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS, and Spring in HANSEL & GRETEL. She also has a long-time passion for film acting, and is currently starring as Hurricane in the web series LOST ‘N FOUND GANG and GHOST HUNTER by Urban Spaghetti Studios.

He has previously performed with the Spartanburg Repertory Opera in THE MERRY WIDOW and as the Usher in TRIAL BY JURY. Locally, he played Hawking Clam in ONSTAGE in Bedford production of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. In 2016, he was cast as Nigel in the National Tour of MATILDA, but decided to move back home to perform in his beloved state of Texas! Rob Parrott (Cowardly Lion) is thrilled to be back on the Artisan stage! You may have seen him previously as the Ghost of Christmas Present in SCROOGE THE MUSICAL and as The Baron in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Rob is a regular cast member in THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, where he plays one of the twelve disciples. Elizabeth Wilson (Ensemble) has been onstage her whole life, whether in church choir, dance company, or theatre. Her favorite role to date, is Grace Farrell in ANNIE. Her first show at Artisan was WALKING ACROSS EGYPT, where she was able to share the stage with her mother and siblings. She is so excited to be a part of THE WIZARD OF OZ with her sister, Tori! She would like to thank God for the strength and talents He has given her.

Tori Wilson (Tree) loves to sing, dance and act. She has grown up with her favorite musicals, including LEGALLY BLONDE, NEWSIES, and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Her dream roles are Elle Woods and Maria.

Cooper Wiseman (Tinman) is delighted to be in his second show with Artisan Center Theater. He was last seen at Artisan as Noah Claypoole in OLIVER! (2012). Other roles include Henry in DIVERSIONS, Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID, and Simeon in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. He is also a stilt walker and aspiring voice actor.

John TillmanJohn Tillman (Director) is an award-winning actor and director. He’s directed HARVEY, GODSPELL, TOWARD ZERO, MOON OVER BUFFALO, BEAU JEST, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, and the regional premieres of DUCK HUNTER SHOOTS ANGEL and PERFECT WEDDING. You may have seen John as Bert in MARY POPPINS, Terk in TARZAN, Sky in GUYS AND DOLLS, or Don Lockwood in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN. John is a freelance writer with his own devotional blog ( and is an occasional contributor to the YouTube shenanigans at How It Should Have Ended. Melissa TillmanMelissa Tillman (Choreographer) got bit by the Jitterbug early in life and hasn’t stopped dancing since. She’s a frequent featured dancer, dance captain, and choreographer. She’s choreographed NUNSENSE (twice), GODSPELL, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and the “Bollywood-style” finale of AS YOU LIKE IT. She’s always wanted to call out her flying monkeys and is glad she finally got to do it! Home is wherever John is and there is no place like it.
Cassondra HarbinCassondra Plybon-Harbin (Stage Manager/Light Designer) is excited to be taking the backstage again with THE WIZARD OF OZ! Cassondra has been involved in over 70 shows at Artisan in many various roles. She knows the cast and production team for WIZARD OF OZ have worked really hard on this show, and she hopes that you have a wonderful time as you enjoy ACT’s production of THE WIZARD OF OZ.
Richard GwozdzH. Richard Gwozdz (Music Director) is excited to be working in another musical at Artisan Center Theater. Played piano since mom slapped him at 8 years old. With Texas Boy’s Choir sang for President Kennedy, Ed Sullivan Show, Perry Como Show, Grammy Award recordings, toured United States and Europe. Music Director at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas, Maintenance Secretary for USPS, Pianist at Edelweiss German Restaurant, and 2016 DFW Theater Critics Forum Orchestral Conducting Award. Rian SlayRian Slay (Assistant Director) is thrilled to be heading down the yellow brick road! Favorite shows that she has been a part of (both on and offstage) include PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS, STATE FAIR, and CITY OF STARS. Rian also teaches the Acting for Teens class at Artisan Academy. Thanks to John and Melissa for letting her tag along on such a fun journey!
Doug VandegriftDouglas Vandegrift (Set Designer) is an artist, animator, actor, director, set designer, musician and puppeteer. He has many years of experience that includes many television credits as well as computer game credits. In the eighties, Doug worked as a storyboard director on many animated television shows including G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Batman the Animated Series and the multi-Emmy awarded Muppet Babies, to name a few. A character actor whose lent his voice to many computer games including Papa Bear in the Berenstein Bears PC Game, Rita James online games, Tex Murphy Series and many others. Graduate from Utah State University with a degree in Stage design and directing. THE WIZARD OF OZ is a musical he knows very well having been associated with five other productions in the past.
Brianna Hunter (Asst. Costume Design) is a sophomore theatre major, at Texas Wesleyan. Previous Theatre Wesleyan technical credits include SPRING AWAKENING (Properties Design), BLITHE SPIRIT (Sound Board Operator), URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL (Wardrobe Crew), VSMS (Asst. Scenic Design), STOP KISS (Asst. Costume Design), and WHEN THE RAIN STOPS FALLING (Front Of House). Brianna is a member of Alpha Psi Omega.
Clarissa MurilloClarissa Murillo (Co-Costume Design) is a recent graduate of Texas Wesleyan University. Previous Theatre Wesleyan costume design credits include SPRING AWAKENING and STOP KISS. Clarissa is excited to make her debut Co-Costume designing for Artisan Center Theater.
Karen PotterKaren A. Potter (Co-Costume Design) has work that has been seen in various theatres and film festivals across the country. She is a designer for theatre, opera, film and television. She currently works as an Assistant Professor for Texas Wesleyan University. She worked for the California Institute of the Arts as a Costume Shop Manager and Adjunct Faculty. She lives with her two children and husband in Fort Worth, TX and works throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
