Cameron BarkleyCameron Barkley (Ensemble) is excited to be performing in Boublil & Schönberg’s THE PIRATE QUEEN in its debut on the Artisan stage. On the Artisan Main Stage, Cameron has played the roles of Harvey Johnson in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Dickon in THE SECRET GARDEN, Billy Fisher in TOM SAWYER, Harry Locke in THE MUSIC MAN, Poppa in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and Tom Jenkins in SCROOGE. As a cast member with Artisan Children’s Theater, he has been in over a dozen productions. He also enjoys singing in the Second Stage musical revues, including SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU’LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN, RED, WHITE & TRUE BLUE, and TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP. When he’s not singing, dancing, and acting at Artisan, Cameron is an 11th-grade homeschooler and working to earn his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts.
Charles BarkleyCharles Barkley (Ensemble) is thrilled to be honoring his Celtic ancestry as a part of this fantastic Boublil & Schönberg musical. He feels blessed to once again share the stage with his youngest son, Cameron. They last appeared together in SCROOGE – THE MUSICAL, where Charles portrayed Bissett the Butcher. With wife, Cindy, serving as part of the tech crew, the Barkley family invites your family to “Sail to the Stars” with us in this soaring musical adventure.

Chelsea BridgmanChelsea Bridgman (Grace O’Malley) is excited to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN once again. She recently played Grace in Family Music Theatre's production of THE PIRATE QUEEN. Some of her other roles at FMT include Eponine in LES MISERABLES, Nina and Daniella in IN THE HEIGHTS, Sleeping Beauty in INTO THE WOODS, Ensemble in TITANIC, Ensemble in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and Tantomile in CATS. She has also appeared in Quo Vadis productions as Belle in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Jane in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, Lily St. Regis in ANNIE, and Bielka in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. When she's not on stage you can find her reading a good book, enjoying the company of her amazing husband, online shopping for makeup, or spending time with her family, and friends. She is grateful for the gifts God has given her, and for the (many) people who have pushed her to pursue her dream of performing. Ian BridgmanIan Bridgman (Donal) is excited to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN once again. He just recently played Donal in Family Music Theatre's production of THE PIRATE QUEEN. His other comedic and dramatic roles at FMT include Grantier in LES MISERABLES, Usnavi in IN THE HEIGHTS, The Wolf in INTO THE WOODS, Frankincense in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, Monsieur Richard Firmin in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and Chino in WEST SIDE STORY. He has also appeared in Quo Vadis productions as Beast/Prince in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Darcy in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, Servant/Dancer in ANNIE, and Bottle Dancer/Ensemble in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF; and Pirate in Garland Summer Musicals’ production of PETER PAN. In his spare time, Ian loves singing, and dancing with his wife, and helping others smile and enjoy God's grace and love. His favorite times are times spent with his friends, family, and beautiful wife.
Noel ClarkNöel Clark (Evleen) is thrilled to perform again on Artisan's Main Stage. She was last seen performing as Mrs. Cratchit in SCROOGE THE MUSICAL and was a featured soloist in the most recent TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP. She is the musical director for Artisan Children's Theater and is an instructor of musical theater classes and private voice and piano lessons in the Artisan Academy. She is so thankful for the support of her family and friends as she pursues her heart's desire to perform!
Tanner CockrumTanner Cockrum (Ensemble) is excited to be cast in his first show at Artisan. Other favorite shows he has been in are as The Artful Dodger in OLIVER, Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR, Donkey in SHREK, JR, Horton in SEUSSICAL, JR, Soldier Ancestor in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Sodapop Curtis in THE OUTSIDERS, Frollo in THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, and Rooster in ANNIE, JR. Tanner is a 7th-grader at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy in the theatre strand.
Scott CollinsScott Collins (Ensemble) returns to the Artisan stage for his fourth show. He has appeared in the Artisan productions as Lieutenant Rhams/Mr. Weil in THE HIDING PLACE, A WRINKLE IN TIME, and THE FREEDOM FACTOR. Scott grew up in Miami as one of four children. His mother was an actress and he followed in her footsteps at the age of 11.
Shoshana CookShoshana Cook (Queen Elizabeth) was last seen on the Artisan stage performing one of her favorite roles; Lily in THE SECRET GARDEN. You may also remember her from JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT, NUNSENSE, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, and HEAVEN CAN WAIT. Her other favorite roles include the title role in GYPSY, Mary in GRAND OLD FLAG, where she met her wonderful husband, David, her role of mother to her beautiful daughter, Cosette, who is sharing the stage with her, and her new role as the wife of the Judge of Tarrant County Criminal Court #1!
Josh CrowJosh Crow (Ensemble) is excited to do his 13th show here at the Artisan! Some of his favorite roles include Buddy in ELF, and Electra in STARLIGHT EXPRESS.
Piper DanielPiper Daniel (Dancer) is honored to have been cast in the Dance Ensemble for THE PIRATE QUEEN. Her latest role on the Main Stage was Martha Cratchit in SCROOGE. She has been dancing with the Second Stage Dance Troupe for the last year along with performing in the Children’s Theater the past 6 years. She would like to thank God for her talent, and her directors, choreographers, voice and theatrical instructors, for their guidance, love, and support.
Chris EdwardsChris Edwards (Lord Bingham) is a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Theatre and Dance. Past favorite roles have been Robert in COMPANY (Lakeside Community Theatre), Anatoly Sergievsky in CHESS (OhLook), Hannah in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (ONSTAGE in Bedford), and Stew Pot in SOUTH PACIFIC (Garland Summer Musicals). Connie GeorgeConnie George (Ensemble) is honored to be a member in the Ensemble of THE PIRATE QUEEN. She began the 2017 Artisan Season as Sister Robert Anne in NUNSENSE. You may also recognize her from last year’s Second Stage Musical Revue of SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU’LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN and Artisan’s 2015 production of ALL SHOOK UP, in which she played Sylvia. Connie would like to thank her four amazing girls and super supportive husband for allowing her to pursue her love for theater. She is so happy to have a place like Artisan, where she can share the talents that the Lord has blessed her with. He is the one who really deserves all the praise.
Dawson GrahamDawson Graham (Ensemble) is more than excited to be aboard the PIRATE QUEEN. He last performed on the Artisan stage in roller skates during STARLIGHT EXPRESS. Before that, he had just as much fun in GUYS AND DOLLS, ALL SHOOK UP, and PINKIE AND BLUE. Dawson is so appreciative of his hardworking directors and is so thankful for getting to work with this amazing cast. Lastly, Dawson thanks all his friends and family for their everlasting love.
Damien GravinoDamian Gravino (Dubdhara)  is happy to be in his second show at Artisan Theater, after just closing MY FAIR LADY as Alfred P. Doolittle. Damian's past rules include Sweeney in SWEENY TODD, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Fagin in OLIVER, and Cyrano in CYRANO DE BERGERAC. Damian received the Marcom Masque Award for best actor in a musical for his favorite role of Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA. Damian thanks his beautiful wife, Kathi, for her love and support. Michael HastyMichael Hasty (Ensemble) is very excited to be doing his second show at the Artisan! He was in GUYS AND DOLLS in 2015. This past summer he was a Bottle Dancer in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Gateway Church. One of his favorite roles is Sir Toby Belch in Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT. Acting is his passion, and there is nothing that he loves more. He would like to thank Mrs. Blair for giving him a role in this show! He would also like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him, and would like to thank God for the talents that He has blessed him with.
Anthony HolmesAnthony Holmes (Ensemble) is an Actor Musician and EMC out of Dallas. He trained from a young age in several martial arts including fencing and muay thai, and received training in stage combat in Exeter, UK with RC Annie. When he's not acting he can be found performing in solo shows at Drugstore Cowboy and Mable Peabody's. He writes his own music and lyrics along with adapting others to his unique jazz folk style. Recent credits include Bedivere in CAMELOT at Lyric Stage and a swing in COUNTRY YOUNG GUNZ at SFOT. He thanks his family for their undying support. 


Faith HopeFaith Hope (Evleen) is a devoted wife and loving mother of 6. She has performed in many shows at Artisan including SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, TARZAN, FOOTLOOSE, and many others. She has been seen in shows at Rose Marine Theater and Plaza Theater as well, and is happy to be returning to the first community theater that gave her a chance to perform. She feels so blessed to have a family so willing to support her pursuit of growth in her talents.
Connor JakubikConnor Jakubik (Eoin/Children’s Ensemble) is excited to be back on stage. He previously appeared in THE MUSIC MAN and more recently, SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. Connor says that his favorite experience on stage so far was SCROOGE THE MUSICAL, because he had six lines! Connor believes that THE PIRATE QUEEN will also be a favorite of his, because this is the first time his father is appearing on stage and he is thrilled to teach Daddy how it’s done. Connor would like to thank his family for their continued support.
Stephen JakubikStephen Jakubik (Ensemble) is thrilled to appear in his first production...ever. Stephen was introduced to theater when dragged along to a performance years ago by his then girlfriend, now wife. Since then, Stephen has been inspired by his wife and children to take his first step into the limelight. He is grateful for their support and happy to prove his daughter wrong; he can sing.
Denise JasperDenise Jasper (Ensemble) loves being on stage at Artisan, and is excited to tap a wee bit into her Irish heritage in THE PIRATE QUEEN. Other acting credits with Artisan include BYE BYE BIRDIE, STATE FAIR, SCROOGE – THE MUSICAL, and MY FAIR LADY. She has also been in HELLO, DOLLY, WIZARD OF OZ, INTO THE WOODS, SHREK, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, OLIVER, and MARY POPPINS, all with GPAC. Favorite roles have been as Mrs. Eynsford-Hill in MY FAIR LADY, Mayor's Wife in BYE BYE BIRDIE, The Stepmother in INTO THE WOODS, and Bird Woman in MARY POPPINS. Not taking for granted the love and support she receives from her family and friends, she dedicates her performances to all.
Jake JonesJake Jones (Ensemble) enjoys being at Artisan Theater! Jake considers it home, so when he toured with Networks production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST last spring, he missed everyone here! He enjoyed all the friends he made during his tour as Chip the Teacup. He has loved being in THE MUSIC MAN, SCROOGE, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR at Artisan, to name a few of his favorites! Layci JonesLayci Jones (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of her first show at the Artisan. Thank you Artisan! She is also thankful for her opportunity to serve Gateway Church through the Performing Arts ministry. This includes performing in two original musicals, CHASING LIGHTS and TRUTHICAL. She is also continuing her growth in Worship Team Academy vocal classes. Madison is 13 and loves dance and theater and all the opportunities homeschooling provides her to spend with friends and family. Her favorite shows have been THE MUSIC MAN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR, and her first show, CHRISTMAS CINDERELLA. She wants to thank Mrs. DeeAnn and Artisan and her family, including her three brothers in the show!
Matthew JonesMatthew Jones (Children’s Ensemble) loves theater. Matthew is in his 7th show and really loves acting. Being on stage so much is a lot of fun for him. When he is not on stage, life is filled with fun and always an adventure being the youngest of 4 and a homeschooling family. He has about twice as much energy as most humans and promises to share some of it soon! Matthew finished his feature role in a short film ‘A Piece of Bread’ last fall. He is a joyful 9-year-old who is thankful to his family and friends for coming to see this show!
Katherine LacombeKatherine Lacombe (Ensemble) is delighted to make her Artisan Theater debut! She is 14 years old and is currently going to school at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. Some of her favorite credits include Student Woman in LES MISÉRABLES at The Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players, Narrator #5 in ALADDIN JR at Plaza Theater Company, and Rhoda Pennmark in THE BAD SEED at Cleburne High School. Claire LuckieClaire Luckie (Ensemble) is very excited to be performing in her first Main Stage show here at Artisan Center Theater. She has been seeing shows on Artisan’s Main Stage for several years and is thankful for the ability to finally perform on it. Recent roles include Sarah in ELF THE MUSICAL JR, and Mom in FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL. She is thankful to her father, Eric Luckie, and Wendy, for all the opportunities to work backstage and on the set to help bring this breathtaking production to life, and to her mother, Amy Luckie, for all her support.
David MaganaDavid Magaña (Chieftain O’Flaherty) is pleased to return to the Artisan Center Theater stage in THE PIRATE QUEEN. He previously appeared in Artisan productions of THE MIRACLE WORKER, THE SECRET GARDEN, and MARK TWAIN’S TOM SAWYER. In college, David directed and wrote THE KEENAN REVUE, the renowned lampoon show staged annually at the University of Notre Dame. David and his wife Angi are the proud parents of five children, all of whom have performed for the Artisan Children’s Theater. David is grateful for the love and support of his wife and family.
Max MandudiMax Mandudi (Ensemble) is in his 12th show at Artisan. He has been in shows such as FOOTLOOSE, GUYS AND DOLLS, KISS ME KATE, and STATE FAIR. Maxwell was a Jedi refugee from Naboo during the Order 66 campaign where he was raised here in the states by Nicolas Cage and Aretha Franklin. He would like to thank his friends for support, and a special thank you to Hunter Hill Helmsley for being the rock he needed in tough times.
Brandon MarshallBrandon Marshall (Children’s Ensemble) is very excited to once again share the stage with his mom, Sherry Marshall in his second Artisan production, THE PIRATE QUEEN. You might remember seeing him at Christmas in SCROOGE. Brandon has taken classes at Artisan Academy under Natalie Burkhart where most notably, he was cast as Prince Charming for their class production of CINDERELLA. He is excited for another opportunity of a "mother/son" duo on stage!
Sherry MarshallSherry Marshall (Ensemble) is so happy to be a part of her tenth production at Artisan! Once again, she will get to share the stage with her oldest son, Brandon, in THE PIRATE QUEEN. Sherry has been performing since she was a child in school and church productions and various community theaters. She even met her husband of 12 years in their church drama group. You might remember seeing her in TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP, SCROOGE, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU’LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN. She would like to thank her husband, Steve, and their three children, for their love and support, and to especially God for all of the blessings and talents He has given to her.
Callie MartzCallie Martz (Danceris 17 years old and finishing up her senior year in high school. Callie has done several shows at Artisan including BIG FISH and RED WHITE AND TRUE BLUE. She is very excited to return to Artisan's Main Stage in this fun-filled production. Callie would like to thank her dad and Mrs. Harris for always encouraging her to pursue her dreams in theatre. 
Lindsey McCallumLindsey McCallum (Dancer) is so excited to be cast in THE PIRATE QUEEN and excited to get back on the stage after a small break! You may have seen her in other stuff at Artisan; as Ursula in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Ursula in THE LITTLE MERMAID, Hip Hopper in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Aphrodite in XANADU JR, and many more. Lindsey thanks all of her friends at GPFAA for supporting her and she'd like to thank her parents for the many hours they drive to get her where she needs.
Trinity McCallumTrinity McCallum (Children’s Ensemble) is excited to be in her second Main Stage show and to finally be in a show with her big sister, Lindsey. You may have seen her last in the Children's Ensemble of SCROOGE. She would like to thank her family for their support.
Seth MerrifieldSeth Merrifield (Eoin/Children’s Ensemble) is new to the stage. He has watched his mother, Faith Hope, in many productions and quickly decided after seeing her fly in TARZAN that he should overcome his stage fright to join her. He has spent the last few years singing with the Haltom City Community Choir and his church choir, and is ready for this great next step! He is so excited to join the Artisan family, and is grateful to all of his family for their support.
Maddy MyersMadelyn Myers (Dancer) enjoys singing, dancing, teaching, playing instruments, and acting. She loves doing performances together with her family. Thank you to Artisan for providing a place for us to act together. Maddy has had the honor of performing here in shows such as PETER PAN, THE CIVIL WAR, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, and RED, WHITE AND TRUE BLUE.
Lauren NeavesLauren Neaves (Ensemble) is grateful to be back on the Main Stage. She was most recently seen as the Flight Attendant in GPAC’s ADDAMS FAMILY! Lauren’s previous experience at Artisan includes HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, THE SECRET GARDEN, and THE MUSIC MAN. Lauren is an accomplished musician who began whistling at just 18 months old. She has performed at numerous community venues such as Mama’s Parties. She would like to thank her family and friends who have encouraged her to follow her passion of musical theater.
Duncan ParkesDuncan Parkes (Ensemble) is very excited to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN! Duncan has had the privilege of being in several Artisan Children’s Stage and Main Stage productions. Some of his favorites include Flat Top in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Karl the Giant in BIG FISH, PINKIE AND BLUE, and YOU CAN’T STOP THE BEAT. Duncan would like to thank God, his parents, his directors, and the many teachers who have helped him along the way.
David PriddyDavid Priddy (Ensembleenjoys singing, dancing and fighting in PIRATE QUEEN. He performed in BYE BYE BIRDIE, MUSIC MAN, STATE FAIR, and other productions. He also sings in Generations of Praise a group of Christian men of differing ages and musical backgrounds. At FBC Hurst, he sings in the choir and praise team, directs the handbell choir and helped present the Easter story through dramatic monologue on Palm Sunday.
Timothy RaifTimothy Raif (Ensemble) is pleased to be performing in his twelfth show at the Artisan, having most recently appeared as Mr. Coggins in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Other roles include Aslan in PRINCE CASPIAN, Mr. Van Daan in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, and Captain Keller in THE MIRACLE WORKER. Timothy has a BA in theater from Texas Wesleyan University. He would like to thank his wife, Suzanne, for supporting him in his theatrical endeavors.
Mary RidenourMary Ridenour (Grace O’Malley) is incredibly enthused to be portraying this historic woman! You may recognize her from other Artisan productions, Casa Manana, Firehouse Theater, Carnegie Players, and more. Some of her favorite roles include Martha in THE SECRET GARDEN, The Witch in BIG FISH, Pearl in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL, Rona Peretti in 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Annie in ANNIE, and Little Red, The Witch, and Rapunzel in INTO THE WOODS. Mary would like to thank her mother and father for being the best parents a girl could ask for, as well as her teachers; Sonny Rios, Richard Estes, Cathryn Sullivan, and Joe Sturgeon.
Sam RiggsSam Riggs (Danceris thrilled to be performing again at Artisan. Last summer, she played Duvay in STARLIGHT EXPRESS. She has been dancing for 9 years, her favorite styles being ballet and pointe. She has also been playing the trumpet for 6 years and plans on playing and dancing through college.
Mallory RoelkeMallory Roelke (Dancer) grew up training in classical music as a member of the internationally acclaimed Texas Girls’ Choir, touring with them across North America, Europe, and Asia on stage, television, and radio. She currently performs musical theater in DFW and was recently featured in the films ‘Crazy 4 You’ and ‘Goodness of Fit.’ She has also taught after-school musical theater programming in Mansfield ISD, where she co-directed SEUSSICAL JR, WILLY WONKA JR, and ANNIE JR.
Neil RogersNeil Rogers (Dubhdara) is pleased to be returning to ACT where he performed as King Arthur in CAMELOT, Jud in OKLAHOMA, as well as SOUTH PACIFIC, HELLO DOLLY, BIG RIVER, and more. He has recently been seen at Lyric Stage as Upson in MAME and Lazar Wolf in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Garland Summer Musicals. He has been working across the Metroplex at theatres such as Casa Manana, Lyric Stage, Theatre Three, Garland Summer Musicals, Shakespeare Dallas, and others, as well as keeping busy in his voice-over career. Neil will be featured in a new movie coming out this year. Favorite recent roles include David Sarnoff in THE FARNSWORTH INVENTION, Javert in LES MISÉRABLES, Arthur in AN ACT OF THE IMAGINATION, King Arthur in SPAMALOT and CAMELOT, Polixenes in THE WINTER’S TALE, Emile in SOUTH PACIFIC, Sam in A CATERED AFFAIR at Theatre Three, and productions like TITANIC, GYPSY, THE GOLDEN APPLE (featured on the Cast Recording), 1776 (Best Supporting Actor) at Lyric Stage, numerous staged readings in the AT&T/Shakespeare Dallas’s Complete Works of Shakespeare Series, and many more.
Augustus RubyAugustus Ruby (Ensemble) is very excited for his first role with Artisan. He has been a patron for years, but all theatrical talents have been used elsewhere. Gus has performed in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW for 8 years running, in multiple roles, and has performed as The Duke in MOULIN ROUGE several times at All-Con Dallas. Outside of theater, Gus loves traveling, working with computers, working out, riding his motorcycle, and attending Renaissance Fairs across the state.
Nathan ScottNathan Scott (Ensemble) is an accomplished dancer, international fashion photographer, and clothing designer. You can see some of his fashion and photography work grace the pages of Vanity and DNA, as well as New York Fashion Week. Nathan holds a BFA in Dance from the University of North Texas, and has performed with Cirque de Soleil, as well as toured with ballet companies and DWTS. Nathan was nominated for the Chita Rivera award for his work in Artes De La Rosa’s MAN OF LA MANCHA. Other roles of his include the Broadwayworld Best Supporting Actor nomination role as Raven in NEVERMORE at the Runway Theater and Ensemble in the regional premier of WELCOME TO ARROYO’S, as well as Choreographer for the regional premier of WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. This is Nathan's 5th show at Artisan and is excited to join the Artisan family once again. Past roles at Artisan include THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, 42ND STREET, and Choreographer for Disney's TARZAN and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN.
Lauren SpharLauren Sphar (Dancer) is honored to be a part of this production. She enjoys performing on Artisan's Main Stage, Children's, and Second Stage theaters. Her favorite show has been BIG FISH. Lauren would like to thank Amy, Nicole, Catherine, Piper, Madie, and Hope for making the theater her second home. Chris StancilChris Stancil (O’Flaherty Chieftainsays that singing and music has always been a special part of his life, especially since he was raised with Barbershop harmonies. Previous productions include Grandpa Potts in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, Quartet in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Major Holmes in THE SECRET GARDEN, and his favorite, Jacey Squires in THE MUSIC MAN.
Madie StelzerMadie Stelzer (Majella/Featured Dancer) is super excited to be in Artisan’s production of THE PIRATE QUEEN. This will be her tenth show here at Artisan, some of her favorite roles include Margy Frake in STATE FAIR, Dinah in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and working with Bill Brooks in THE TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP. Madie would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support, and the wonderful directors for casting her in such a fun and challenging role.
Heather SturdevantHeather Sturdevant (Queen Elizabethis over the moon to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN. You may have seen her in other Artisan productions such as Emily Arden in STATE FAIR, Elaine Harper in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, Rose Lennox in THE SECRET GARDEN, Sandra/Ensemble in ALL SHOOK UP, Shirley/Mary Lou Sokolov in BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, and Tracy Lord in PHILADELPHIA STORY. Other credits include Dinosaur/Muse/Ivy in SKIN OF OUR TEETH (Stage West), Ensemble in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD (Denton Community Theatre), Marie in SEARCH AND DESTROY (L.I.P. Service), and Florinda in INTO THE WOODS (Music Theatre of Denton). “Never a dull moment!” She would also like to thank DeeAnn Blair for trusting her talents enough to give her such an important and incredible role, and Dawson Graham, because he's an incredible human. 
Max SwarnerMax Swarner (Tiernan) is thrilled to join the company of THE PIRATE QUEEN and to make his debut on the Artisan stage. Pierrepont Finch in HOW TO SUCCEED…(MainStage Irving-Las Colinas), Henrik Egerman in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (PFamily Arts), Alan Strang in EQUUS (Uptown Players), Ché in EVITA, and Joseph in JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT (Repertory Company Theatre). Max has worked with many stage and screen icons, including performing alongside Broadway legend, Chita Rivera, in the national tour of CASPER: THE MUSICAL. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the DFW Critics Forum Award for Best Actor in a Musical (HOW TO SUCCEED…) and multiple Column Awards. He holds a degree in voice from Southern Methodist University and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. As always, endless love and gratitude to Kim, and his family for all their support. Kimberly SypertKimberly Sypert (Ensemble) is excited to return to the stage after a hiatus as a working mother. This is her first show with Artisan after participating as an audience member for many shows. She has previously performed at Irving Mainstage, Flower Mound Performing Arts Center, and Starlight Performing Arts Center. Her favorite role was Aunt Eller in OKLAHOMA. She'd like to thank her family for fending for themselves in her absence.
Audrey WatsonAudrey Watson (Ensemble) is in her fourth show at Artisan with THE PIRATE QUEEN! Her last Main Stage role was Isabel Fezziwig in SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. She has also been a part of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR and FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL at Artisan Children's Theater. She loves to sing and play the piano, and spending time with her friends and family. She is so privileged as an actress to be part of the Artisan community. It is truly a blessing to share the stage with such outstanding people whom she loves and respects. She cannot wait to see where theatre takes her!
Nicole WicksNicole Wicks (Dancer) is in her fifth Main Stage show with THE PIRATE QUEEN. Her last was BYE BYE BIRDIE (2016). She has performed in many Children’s shows as well, and is currently in THE TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP on Artisan’s Second Stage. She is excited to bring dance to this production. She praises God for her talent and thanks her parents for their love and support. She is blessed for this opportunity to work with Mrs. Blair as director.
DeeAnn Blair (Directoris a founding director and Executive Producer of Artisan. She has produced over 150 plays since moving to Fort Worth years ago. In a time when she wasn’t so involved in running a theater, she loved performing in such plays as ARSENIC AND OLD LACE (Elaine Harper), HEAVEN CAN WAIT (Julia Farnsworth), THE CURIOUS SAVAGE (Fairy May), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Maria), JOSEPH AND THE …. (Narrator), and many others.  At Artisan she directed THE ARK, THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, THE MUSIC MAN, and SCROOGE.
Cassondra Plybon (Stage Manager) Ahoy thar! Capitan Cassondra Plybon returns again t' lead a cast o' scurvy dogs through th' trudges that be a Main Stage production. Cassondra has been busy since her last show o' SCROOGE, wha' wit' a Column Award nomination 'n plannin' a weddin’. Without further ado may we weigh anchor 'n hoist th' mizzen, 'n hope ye enjoy th' show.
Kirk CorleyKirk Corley (Asst. Director/Ensembleis a frequent visitor to the Artisan stage. Some of his roles and productions here include the black-clad citizen Chauvelin in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, the German Professor Bhaer in LITTLE WOMEN, Uncle Stanley in SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, Ham in THE ARK, Spirit of Christmas Present in SCROOGE, and Sir Dinadan in CAMELOT. At other theaters he played Archibald Craven in THE SECRET GARDEN, Thuy in MISS SAIGON and Adam/Noah in CHILDREN OF EDEN. For 18 seasons, he could be found bearded and robed on the stages of THE PROMISE both in Glen Rose, TX and Branson, MO.
Amy JonesAmy Elizabeth Jones (Asst. Director/Choreographer) is delighted to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN! Amy has choreographed numerous Artisan productions including MY FAIR LADY, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, BIG FISH, and many more. She was most recently seen in STATE FAIR, which she also choreographed. Amy also loves working with the Second Stage Dance Troupe, who perform in the Artisan's music revues! Amy thanks her family for their love and support.
Richard GwozdzH. Richard Gwozdz (Music Director) is excited to be working with THE PIRATE QUEEN. Fighting scenes brought back the days when he played the organ during fights at sporting events namely CHL Hockey Games, NHL Exhibition Hockey Games, USA vs USSR Hockey Game on ESPN, Celebrity Hockey Game, coaches/umpire arguments during Texas Ranger Baseball games, and trippings during Dallas Tornado's Indoor/Outdoor Soccer Games; just a kick in the grass. Auditioned for the role as the Parrot. Didn’t even make callbacks. Enjoy THE PIRATE QUEEN.
Carlo AceytunoCarlo Aceytuno (Fight Directoris originally from Los Angeles, CA. Carlo has studied both Martial Arts and Stage Combat for almost 20 years. Carlo is part fight stud, part video game/comic book loving nerd, and father of three. Now in Dallas, he is a founding member of the stage combat organization, SCDallas, LLC, and enjoys teaching sword fighting, whip cracking, and many other theatrical combat styles to all ages. Carlo is an action specialist that has been recognized by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) as an Actor Combatant and as proficient in Theatrical Firearms Safety. His range of work, both performance and fight choreography, have been seen on The History Channel, the Hollywood Bowl, the House of Blues, Dallas Winspear Opera House, Greater Lewisville Community Theatre, and more. He regularly teaches workshops with schools, open classes for adults, and everything in between. Carlo is excited to be a part of THE PIRATE QUEEN production and thankful to be part of the Artisan Center Theater family. He encourages anyone with an interest in theatrical violence to come play with SCDallas:

Jill Hall (Costume Design) studied drama and voice at Cedar Valley College, and filled several roles in various productions at Family Music Theater. Her favorites include Anna in THE KING AND I, Golda in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Marguerite in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. It was this last role that introduced Jill to stage combat. She now holds certifications in Unarmed and Single-sword Stage Combat from the Society of American Fight Directors. This is her second year in the role of Lady Marian at Sherwood Forest Faire. For the last eleven years, Jill has been a member of the award-winning troupe at the Texas Star Dinner Theater in Grapevine, Texas. She is an active costumer; recent works include THE PIRATE QUEEN, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and A BOLLYWOOD LYSISTRATA. Jill collects vintage jewelry and restores vintage smoking pipes as a hobby.

Jonah MunroeJonah Munroe (Asst. Choreographer) previously worked alongside Amy Jones on the fundraising event, YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT at Artisan in 2016. This will make his second Artisan show to be an Assistant Choreographer on. performance credits at Artisan include GUYS and DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and THE MUSIC MAN. Thanks to Amy, Cassandra, And DeeAnn for trusting his input within the show, as well as the cast for giving it their all within each rehearsal.
Wendy Searcy-WoodeWendy Searcy-Woode (Set Design/Build) is in her second season as the Scenic Design/Build Director here at Artisan Center Theater. Wendy designed and built all the Artisan Main Stage sets for 2016 season including,  STATE FAIR, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BYE BYE BIRDIE, BIG FISH, FOREVER PLAID, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, among others. For the Children’s Theater she designed sets for THE CAT IN THE HAT, THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and others. With 25 years of theatre experience on and off the stage, she brings her passion and is completely grateful to be doing what she loves most. She would like to thank her family for their continued love and support.
