Acting Classes


 

SPRING BREAK PRODUCTION CAMP – SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL! (Limited Availability!)

March 9–13, 10am–2pm
Ages: 6–14
Instructors: Abi Oxley-Derrick, Macye Armstrong
Tuition: $350

 

Join us for an exciting Musical Theatre Production camp during Spring Break! Students will work hard during the week to learn the music, choreography, and staging of a 25-minute musical, with the camp culminating in a performance of Seussical the Musical! In addition to learning a show, the students will explore concepts in performance, build confidence through the stage, and have a blast!

 

 

ACTING 1

This class is designed for beginner actors or actors who simply desire the understanding of basic acting principles. The class will cover concepts including improvisation, movement, voice and diction, character analysis, focus, and physical characterization.

 

 

ACTING 2

Monday, 5:30pm–6:25pm

This class focuses on more advanced disciplines of acting, including improvisational exercises, observation, concentration, focus, listening, and responding skills. This class is designed to give actors a larger knowledge of theory and practical practice with scene work.

 

 

IMPROVISATION

Tuesday, 5:30pm–6:25pm

Come learn the technique of one of the funniest forms of performance! This class teaches the elements of improvisation that are an important foundation for any actor.

 

 

Semester Tuition: $300, or $240 if paid in full upon enrollment (or $150 deposit and four monthly payments of $37.50).

BROADWAY KIDS HOMESCHOOL!

Learn the basic skills needed to be successful in musical theatre! This class explores the fundamental skills in acting, dancing, singing, and working with an ensemble.

Second Stage

 

This class is for performers who want to dig into the history of theatre and how modern musicals came to be. Using performance, students will learn about Greek Theatre, Shakespeare, Vaudeville, and so much more, in a fun way! The semester will culminate in a hilarious performance of all the types of theatre throughout the ages.

 

 

TRIPLE THREAT JR.

This class is for students who are excited to explore concepts of musical theatre in a deeper way. Each week, students will receive specialized instruction in acting, singing, and dancing. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops.

TRIPLE THREAT

This upper-level class is geared toward students who desire to dig into the three disciplines of musical theatre in a more advanced way. Students will receive specialized instruction in vocal performance, dance and choreography, and advanced acting concepts. Additionally, students will gain experience through in-class workshops in auditioning, scene work, and more.

 

 

Semester Tuition: $350 with a $50 registration fee ($175 deposit and four monthly payments of $43.75).

Gain a deeper understanding of the foundation of dancing by exploring the technique associated with it. This class is designed to give students a stronger grasp on the fundamental principles of dancing that are used on stage and in every form of dance performance. With a focus on Ballet, this class will give your performer a strong foundation of dance.

 

 

BROADWAY BABIES

Friday, 11am–11:55am

This class is designed for our youngest Broadway stars! Allow your student to get comfortable moving in a class setting and discover the different ways your body can work to communicate mood and energy.

Production Classes


 

Ever want to be in a musical production, but can't commit to rehearsals every night for weeks or even months? Ever want to try being in a show, but wanted to do a lighter version of a musical? This is the class for you! Meet once per week to take part and rehearse a cut version (mini-musical) and perform your production at the end of the semester on our stage!

 

 

PROJECT BROADWAY – SLEEPING BEAUTY

Wednesday, 5pm–6:25pm

Follow the story of the lost Princess Aurora as she meets a handsome prince, falls for an evil spell, and lives happily ever after. Featuring beloved characters as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, Sleeping Beauty is continuining to captivate young audiences.

 

 

PROJECT BROADWAY HOMESCHOOL – THE JUNGLE BOOK

Join the charming duo, Mowgli and Baloo, as they navigate the jungle as human and bear. This timeless classic comes to life on stage with songs that we all know and love!

Private Voice & Piano Lessons

1-hour lessons with Noël – Semester tuition: $900 in full or $450 deposit, plus four monthly payments of $112.50. Drop in rates: $60/hour (lesson)

 

30-minute lessons with Noël – Semester tuition: $525 in full or $262.50 deposit, plus four monthly payments of $65.63. Drop in rates: $35/30-minute lesson.

 

 

PIANO with NOËL

30-minute lessons with Noël – Semester tuition: $450 in full or $225 deposit, plus four monthly payments of $56.25. Drop in rates: $30/30-minute lesson.

 

 

The semester of piano and voice instruction culminates in a combined recital for family and friends!
