Sonia AlcalaSonia Alcala (Jocelyn Jollygood/Mrs. Fezziwig) is returning for her 7th Artisan production. Her previous Artisan productions include THE MUSIC MAN, ALL SHOOK UP, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. She has also performed in THE PROMISE at Glen Rose, TX for three seasons. Sonia is a cancer survivor and gives honor and praise to God for each new day!
Macye ArmstrongMacye Armstrong (Kathy Cratchit/Jen) is very excited to be a part of SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. This is Macye's 15th show with the Artisan theater. Some of her favorite roles have been Wilbur in CHARLOTTE’S WEB, Jemima in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, and Molly in ANNIE JR. Another one of her favorite roles was when she played Jane Banks in MARY POPPINS for the Fossil Ridge High School Theatre. Macye is also involved in choir. She would like to thank her mom for helping her achieve her dreams. Above all, she gives all the honor and thanks to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who without Him, she would not have any of these amazing opportunities.
Miley ArmstrongMiley Armstrong (Belinda Cratchit) is very excited to make her main stage debut in SCROOGE. She has been involved in Artisan Children's Theater, where she played one of her favorite roles of Chip in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. She is also involved in church choir and loves singing. She wants to thank her family, especially her mom, for always encouraging her to be the best she can be.
Harmony AustinHarmony Austin (Punch and Judy Woman) is so excited to be here! She has worked with Artisan Children's Theater since she was thirteen in productions like THE BIG BAD MUSICAL and THE WIZARD OF OZ. Thanks so much to everyone in the cast and crew!
Samantha BajoneroSamantha Bajonero (Bess) has been acting since she was 3 when she started in her first musical, ANNIE, as Molly. She has been in many productions like MIRACLE WORKER and UBU, but her favorite is THE MARVELOUS PLAYBILL, where she appeared as Dona Marta. Other than singing, acting, and dancing, Samantha enjoys playing the piano and her ukulele. She would like to thank her mother and her father, and her piano and vocal instructor, Deborah Castlemain.
Cameron BarkleyCameron Barkley (Tom Jenkins) is excited to be performing in SCROOGE. Cameron has made numerous appearances on the three Artisan stages. On the Main Stage, has played the roles of Harvey Johnson in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Dickon in SECRET GARDEN, Billy Fisher in TOM SAWYER, Harry Locke in THE MUSIC MAN, and most recently Poppa in STARLIGHT EXPRESS. As a cast member with Artisan Children’s Theater, he has been in over a dozen productions. He recently portrayed Maurice, Belle’s slightly eccentric father in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. He also just recently sang in SONGS FROM SHOWS YOU’LL NEVER SEE AT ARTISAN on the Second Stage. When he’s not singing, dancing, and acting at Artisan, Cameron is an 11th-grade homeschooler and working to earn his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts.
Charles BarkleyCharles Barkley (Bisset) is thrilled to be a part of this Christmas classic with a fantastic cast and crew. He has been looking forward to sharing the stage with his son, Cameron, for quite some time and feels truly blessed with the opportunity. “Thank you very much.”
Bill BrooksBill Brooks (Ebenezer Scrooge) is proud to be marking off the last item on his performance-related bucket list by playing Scrooge at Artisan Center Theater. He is also honored to be in his third year serving as Board President at Artisan. Bill is in awe of the level of talent that blesses the Artisan stage show after show and is especially appreciative of the dedication to family-friendly theatre. He also wants to express gratitude to the Creator for great health, sound mind (well, that’s debatable), and a world full of friends.
Seth BurrisSeth Burris (Children’s Ensemble) is so thrilled to be in his very first performance at the Artisan. He has always dreamed of being on the Artisan stage. Nathanael ClarkNathanael Clark (Tiny Tim) is 12 years old and attends Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. He is excited to appear in his second Main Stage production!  He was featured this summer in Artisan's Main Stage production of BYE BYE BIRDIE as Randolph. Past credits include: Scuttle in THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR., Arthur in FLAT STANLEY, Mowgli in THE JUNGLE BOOK (Artisan Children’s Theater); Morris in HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS (Casa Mañana); Young Van Cliburn in VAN CLIBURN (Bass Hall); AN AMERICAN HERO; and Snoopy in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (Kids Who Care Musical Theater). Noel ClarkNoel Clark (Mrs. Cratchit) is excited to perform in her first Main Stage show at Artisan, and especially to be on stage with her son, Nathanael! She is a private voice teacher and has recently joined Artisan Children's Theater as Musical Director and Instructor. Most of her singing experience has been in opera and in church, but her most gratifying role is Mom to five talented children. Kirk CorleyKirk Corley (Hugo Hearty/Fezziwigis excited to be in his 10th show here at the Artisan. Past characters and productions at Artisan include Professor Bhaer from LITTLE WOMEN, Hamm from THE ARK, Spirit of Christmas Present in SCROOGE, Sir Dinadane in CAMELOT, Chauvelin in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL; other theater productions include Archibald Craven in THE SECRET GARDEN, and Miss Siagon and Adam/Noah from CHILDREN OF EDEN. For eighteen seasons he could be found bearded and robed on the stage of THE PROMISE both in Glen Rose, TX and Branson, MO. By day, he builds sets for WaterTower Theatre.
Piper DanielPiper Daniel (Martha Cratchit) joined the Artisan family 5 years ago, at the age of 7, when SCROOGE was playing on the Main Stage, and is ecstatic to be Martha Cratchit this time around. Since her first show here, Piper has been in over 35 productions, including 3 Main Stage and 3 Second Stage shows. Huge thanks to Mrs. Natalie for watching her grow up here on stage and giving her this chance to shine, as well as to Mrs. DeeAnn and Amy for their belief in her.
Shannon DanielShannon Daniel (Mrs. Carstairs) appears on stage for the first time ever. The courage to audition came mostly from her mother, Janice, who always wanted life to be like a musical—with people breaking out in song in the middle of the street. It’s never too late to change!  Shannon thanks God, her family—Lee, Jonathan, Piper and Zander, as well as Cassondra, Natalie, DeeAnn, Amy, and Richard for their trust in her. Jeff FlorenceJeff Florence (Bob Cratchit) is happy to be back performing in SCROOGE. His other acting credits in DFW include THE MUSIC MAN, SWEENEY TODD, JC SUPERSTAR, and SMOKY JOE’S CAFE. His credits at Artisan include THE BOOK OF JOB, I LOVE A PIANO, ANNIE, and THE CIVIL WAR. Cortlin GerdesCortlin Gerdes (Belinda Cratchit) returns to the Main Stage! Her first Main Stage show was when she was 6 years old. She participated by playing three different characters and enjoyed the experience with her whole family. This year is her first Main Stage performance on her own. She is excited to be involved at the Artisan, and loves sports and theatre!

Jackie HoltJackie Holt (Mrs. Pringle) is glad to be back on the Main Stage! She was last seen on Second Stage as the cranky Miss Brill in CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. Her favorite role is Reverend Mother in NUNSENSE... with Edwina Holcomb from RUNNING IN THE RED close behind. Jackie has a BA in Accounting and a BFA/Performance. She is married to the best man in the world, is the mother of six adult children, grandmother of 6 and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Denise JasperDenise Jasper (Mrs. Dilber) is once again thrilled to be on the Artisan stage. She is coming straight from STATE FAIR to SCROOGE. BYE BYE BIRDIE was her debut at the Artisan, and she had so much fun. Cory LangleyCory Langley (Bob Cratchit) is thrilled to be a part of SCROOGE, THE MUSICAL. He is very excited to share the stage with his daughter, Catherine. Suzi LeeSuzi Lee (Mrs. Cratchit) is delighted to perform for the last time on the Artisan stage before becoming a “Mrs.” and moving to Houston! Her last role here was Sandra in BIG FISH, and it has changed her life in more ways than she can count. In addition to this, she has portrayed Rose Lennox in SECRET GARDEN, Jane in TARZAN, Ellie Andrews in IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT, Monica in THE MEDIUM, and Mabel in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, to name a few. Abigail LewisAbigail Lewis (Jen/Children’s Ensemble) is a 10 year-old and loves acting and singing. She appeared in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG at Artisan, and has been in many other plays, including SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE JR., GOLDILOCKS, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, and SLEEPING BEAUTY. She sings in the Cantare Bene children’s choir in Southlake, and takes classes in drawing and ballet at Travis Academy of Fine Arts.
Malachi LewisMalachi Lewis (Children’s Ensemble) is 9 years old, and this is his first Artisan play. He attends online school with Texas Connections Academy and studies 6th grade ELA and SS, and 8th grade Science and Geometry. He attends drawing classes at Travis Academy of Fine Arts and enjoys Cub Scouts. He loves math, science, art, and running.
Brandon MarshallBrandon Marshall (Children’s Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his Artisan stage debut in SCROOGE! For the first time, he will be joining his mom, Sherry Marshall, on stage in her seventh Artisan production. Brandon has taken classes at Artisan Academy under Natalie Burkhart, where most notably, he was cast as Prince Charming for their class production of CINDERELLA. He is excited for this opportunity of a "mother/son" duo on stage!
Sherry MarshallSherry Marshall (Jocelyn Jollygood/Mrs. Fezziwig) is excited to be returning to Artisan’s stage for SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. You might remember seeing her portray the Baroness in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, as well as Mrs. Mae Peterson in BYE BYE BIRDIE. She has been performing since she was a child, in school and church productions and various community theaters, including Casa Manana in Fort Worth. She met her husband of 12 years in their church drama group, where they have performed together ever since. She would like to thank her husband, Steve, and their three children for their love and support, and especially God for all of the blessings and talents He has given to her.

Trinity McCallumTrinity McCallum (Children’s Ensemble) is 5 years old and is excited to be in her first Main Stage Production. She has been the "little sister" around the theater for 5 years, following her big sister in rehearsals and shows, and is excited for her opportunity to take the stage. Travis MillerTravis Miller (Hugo Hearty/Fezziwig) is excited for the opportunity to reprise his role in SCROOGE at Artisan Center Theater. This is his eighteenth production at Artisan, appearing most recently in STATE FAIR. Travis appeared in the movie ‘Leap of Faith’ and is a veteran of the stage, with over 50 years of experience. Some of his favorite roles have been Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Rev. Dr. Harper in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, Jacob in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE, Benjamin Franklin in 1776, and Big Daddy in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.
Billy MyersBilly Myers (Ghost of Christmas Present) has performed as Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS and Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, as well as many other roles he has played here. Well, he is excited to be back to play a reprise of the role he played five years ago. Most recently, he played Peter in THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, and HIS LIFE, both musicals about the life of Jesus. He is blessed to share the stage with his wife, mother, and three of his children.
Carolyn MyersCarolyn Myers (Mrs. Carstairs) is honored to perform in at Artisan. Carolyn has the privilege to be in this production with her family. She is a wife and a mom. Her family enjoys acting together.  She has been in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and THE PROMISE in Glenrose. Collene MyersCollene Myers (Mrs. Dilber) has been a fan of Artisan for a number of years. She is excited to be in a show for the first time here. She just finished performing in a musical production, THE PROMISE, in Glenrose. She has four children and many grandchildren. She is excited about being in the show with one of her sons, Billy, and his family.
Jonathan MyersJonathan Myers (Peter Cratchit) has been in many productions at Artisan. He is excited to be in SCROOGE again with his family. He has been in shows such as THE PROMISE, THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, PETER PAN, and JUNGLE BOOK.
Maddy MyersMaddy Myers (Isabel Fezziwig/Helen) enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. She loves doing performances together with her family. Noe MyersNoe Myers (Miss Dilber/Schoolteacher) is thrilled to be a part of this show again. She is thankful for her wonderful directors, choreographer, and cast. This will be her ninth Main Stage show at Artisan, and has done an Artisan Children's Theater show. She has also been involved with THE PROMISE, in Glenrose for seven seasons. Ian NanceIan Nance (Dick Wilkins/Topper) has performed in 20+ Artisan Children’s Theater productions, and is thrilled to be in his 5th Main Stage production. Rob ParrottRob Parrott (Ghost of Christmas Present) is so excited to be returning to Artisan Center Theater! You may have seen him recently as the Baron/Lord Scrumptious in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG (Artisan Center Theater). He has also played Mr. Brownlow in OLIVER (Granbury Opera House), Mr. Bumble in OLIVER (Uptown Theater), Pilate in THE CHOICE (South Oaks BC), and Grandpa/Disciple in THE PROMISE (Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose). When not on stage, Rob teaches math at Martin High School in Arlington. Megan RobertsMegan Roberts (Chestnut Seller) is an outgoing, fun-loving person. She loves theatre and music, and just the thought of performing. She is currently a part of choir, drill team, and thespian society at Fort Worth Christian. She enjoys church and helping those in need. She is thankful to be a part of  the Artisan Theater group.

Mark has played such characters as Emile deBecque in SOUTH PACIFIC, Kerchak in TARZAN, and Max in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. I enjoy working at Artisan Center Theater and entertaining patrons of all ages. Lauren SpharLauren Sphar (Ghost of Christmas Past/Mary/Beggar Woman) is honored to be a part of this production. She is a 10th-grader at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and spends most of her free time at the theater. She enjoys performing on Artisan's Main Stage, Children's, and Second Stage Theaters. Tim SpharTim Sphar (Bisset) is pleased to be chosen for his first role at Artisan, performing along with his daughter, Lauren. Tim has not acted on the stage since a high school production of OKLAHOMA. Tim is a lifelong choral singer, a member of the chancel choir at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, and a charter member of the Choral Artists of Fort Worth. Tim is also an accomplished organist, playing at First Presbyterian in his spare time.
Angelina StephensAngelina Stephens (Miss Dilber/Schoolteacher) is positively enthusiastic for this opportunity! Her favorite role ever would be Scarecrow here in THE WIZARD OF OZ! Others include DOC, DOC...GOOSE, ‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, ALADDIN JR, and many others! Mason ValesMason Vales (Dick Wilkins/Topper) is excited to be performing in his second Main Stage production. You may recall seeing him recently in STARLIGHT EXPRESS as Rusty. He has previously enjoyed his roles here in PINKIE AND BLUE, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, CHARLOTTE’S WEB, THE CAT IN THE HAT, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD. He would like to thank his ACT mentors and fellow ACT friends for their friendships and support. A special thank you to ACT as a whole for giving him these opportunities and allowing him to have the time of his life!
Brian WalkerBrian Walker (Jacob Marley) is excited to be in his 2nd show on Main Stage, after CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Brian has played the role of Bob Cratchit twice in A CHRISTMAS CAROL MUSICAL. Brian did not begin acting until his later 20’s, when he was in many musicals (e.g. CAMELOT, CAROUSEL, WEST SIDE STORY, and IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE). He was hooked, and acted in dramatic, mystery, comedy, and church productions, in Idaho, Washington, Iowa, and Georgia. He still keeps his “day job” as an engineer at Lockheed. Theatre has been a great blessing and “escape.” A big thanks to those who encourage and support him: wife, daughters, friends, directors & crew, and the great Artisan patrons.
Audrey WatsonAudrey Watson (Isabel Fezziwig/Helen) is sixteen years old. She was born into a family of musicians and has taken private piano lessons since first grade. She takes fine arts at TAFA and academics at Matthew Road Academy. She is now a junior in high school, and performing arts is what she loves to do more than anything else in the world! She discovered her passion for the arts not long ago, and since then her life has changed in many ways. Singing and acting allows her to express herself as a person, and express her passion as a performer. Acting is a fun way to develop social/communicative skills, and it teaches you how to adapt quickly in new or unfamiliar environments by surrounding you with such often. She loves being around people and meeting new faces every day! She hopes to develop her acting career as much as possible before she graduates in 2018. As for college, she has yet to discover where she will be attending, although she plans on majoring in theater.
Grace WilsonGrace Wilson (Kathy Cratchit) is ecstatic to be playing Kathy in this production. Her favorite shows have been CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG (Artisan Center Theatre), MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (Dallas Children's Theatre), and THE WIZARD OF OZ (Casa Manana). Her most favorite role has been Charlotte in CHARLOTTE’S WEB. Theatre has been a focus of hers since she was six years old. She enjoys writing, illustrating, and LOVES animals. She would like to thank her family, friends, and God for being so encouraging and supportive.
Luke WilsonLuke Wilson (Peter Cratchit) is thrilled to be playing Peter in his first Main Stage show! He enjoys baseball, art, and playing with his siblings (and his puppy, Fluffy McStuffins). He would like to thank his family and God!
Mark WinterMark Winter (Ebenezer Scrooge) is delighted to reprise his role from Artisan’s 2005 production of SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. Mark was on the Artisan stage last year as General Waverly in WHITE CHRISTMAS. An ordained minister, Mark includes his love of drama in a ministry called One Man Show ( Mark wants to thank his wife, Laura, and Directors Dee Ann Blair and Natalie Burkhart for their support. Natalie Burkhart (Director) is absolutely thrilled to be making her Main Stage directing debut with this production of SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. She has been the director for Artisan Children’s Theater productions since 2011, directing over thirty shows including SHREK THE MUSICAL, INTO THE WOODS, JR., ANNIE, JR., DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR. and RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN’S CINDERELLA. Acting credits include CITY OF ANGELS and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at FMPAT, THE TEMPAST at Dallas Shakespeare Festival and Teatro Dallas’ THE PRETENTIOUS MAIDENS. She has also starred in WEST SIDE STORY, SWING and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD here at Artisan, and spent two years touring the United States as Betty Blake in ALL HANDS ON DECK, after playing the role here on Artisan’s stage. Natalie is the proud mother of two beautiful babies, and would like to thank her husband for his unwavering love, support, and encouragement.
Cassondra Plybon (Stage Manager) is returning this time to bring in the holidays with all of you in SCROOGE. She has been involved with many, many shows recently including, but not limited to, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STATE FAIR, and THE 39 STEPS. Cassondra has recently become engaged to her high school sweetheart, so everyone be sure to congratulate her on this big step in her life. She appreciates all the hard work her cast and crew has put into the show, and hopes all of you enjoy it greatly, and have some happy holidays.
Amy Elizabeth Jones (Choreographer) is delighted to be a part of SCROOGE! Amy has choreographed many Artisan productions, including BYE BYE BIRDIE, BIG FISH, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and most recently, STATE FAIR. Amy loves teaching at Artisan Academy. She also enjoys hosting PBS music specials on KERA. Amy thanks her family and friends for their love and support.
Jennifer Leyva (Assistant Choreographer) hails from Oklahoma City, OK, where she trained as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She has worked with Six Flags America, Double JJ Ranch and Golf Resort, Texas Ballet Theater, and of course, Artisan Center Theater, where she is the Children's Program Coordinator. She has choreographed such shows as SHREK, PHANTOM, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, THE MUSIC MAN, ELF JR, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and many more.
H. Richard Gwozdz (Music Director) Is excited to be a part of Artisan Center Theater. Currently, he is the music director at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas, does consumer affairs for the USPS, and is a pianist at Edelweiss German Restaurant in Fort Worth. Richard has toured with the Texas Boys Choir. He studied piano/organ at TCU. He has toured with TCU Organ Class Europe, and is the organist at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and Carswell Air Force Base Chapel. He is also the music director/organist at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Richard has been involved with church music for over 54 years. Enjoy SCROOGE!
Alexandra Eddins (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be working on another show here at Artisan! Alex holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Abilene Christian University and has received a Betty Lynn Buckley Award for excellence in costume design. Some of her favorite shows she's designed include STATE FAIR (Artisan), NEXT TO NORMAL (Abilene Christian University), and ANYTHING GOES (Birdville High School). Wendy Searcy-Woode (Scenic & Set Designer) is the Scenic Design/Build Director here at Artisan Center Theater. Wendy has designed and built extravagant sets for Artisan for STATE FAIR, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BYE BYE BIRDIE, BIG FISH, FOREVER PLAID, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, among others. For the Children’s Theater she has built sets for THE CAT IN THE HAT, THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and others. With 25 years of theatre experience on and off the stage, she brings her passion and is completely grateful to be doing what she loves most. She would like to thank her family for their continued love and support.
Daniel Orges (Light Design/Special Effects) is thrilled to be working on this production of SCROOGE! Previous credits include special effect lighting for Artisan's recent production of STARLIGHT EXPRESS. He would like to thank God for giving him many great talents, Rick and DeeAnn for offering him the opportunity to expand his skills, Natalie for teaching him her technique with the lighting program, and Wes Taylor for showing him so much of what he knows.
