COVID-19 Update (September 16, 2020)

Safety Measures

Seating and Social Distancing

All patrons entering the building will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing during your visit when possible.  CDC and state guidelines permit the adjacent seating of multiple parties when wearing masks. If you find yourself uncomfortable or “too close” to someone outside of your party, please make one of our ushers aware and we will reseat you as needed.

Out of an abundance of safety, Artisan Center Theater will NOT be serving refreshments at this time. This will permit all patrons to keep their masks in place for the safety of themselves and those around them during the production.

Lobby and Box Office Precautions

Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the lobby and entrance to theaters for public use. Plexiglass has been installed at each box office window.

Whenever possible, Artisan Center Theater will provide programs, but will no longer recycle or have ushers distributing them. They will be provided free of charge at the entrance to the theater. We now ask that you take your programs home with you as a souvenir.

Cleaning and Surfaces Treated

Box office and lobby surfaces are cleaned frequently. Ushers and staff will frequently clean and disinfect high touch surfaces in all audience accessible areas including the lobby, theaters, concessions, hallways, entrances and restrooms.

Symptom Awareness

We know this is common sense, but ask that anyone having symptoms of COVID-19 such as a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher or, if you are experiencing other symptoms either before or during a performance, we ask that your tickets be exchanged for a later performance.

Ticket Exchange

Patrons may exchange tickets for a different performance (up to performance time) if experiencing any symptoms of illness or if they learn they have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Contact Tracing

All patrons attending a performance at Artisan Center Theater will have reservations with assigned seating and contact information retained in the box office to facilitate contact tracing if necessary.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By entering Artisan Center Theater’s facilities, employees, volunteers and patrons assume all risk related to exposure to COVID-19.
