Samantha Bajonero (Chorus/First Nighter) has been acting since she was 3 when she starred as Molly in her first musical, ANNIE. Recent credits include: BUDDY, ENRON MACHINAL, MY FAIR LADY, and SCROOGE. Bajonero is devoted to acting, singing, and dancing, and would like to one day be on Broadway. Samantha would like to thank her parents, directors, and instructors for teaching her more than just the technique.

Jacob Bitter (Phantom/Erik) is honored and elated to be in Artisan’s production of PHANTOM. He was absent from the theater world for nearly 15 years, and was only recently able to return to play Von Hussler in Artisan’s production of MARY POPPINS. He is especially grateful for his wife, children, the director, John Wilkerson, everyone in the cast and tech crew, and his voice teacher, Sonny Rios, for making this adventure possible.

Maggie Bossalini (Fleure) is super excited and humble to be performing in her last show here at Artisan. She was last seen on Artisan’s stage as Eleanor in STATE FAIR, but is more commonly seen on stage at school through plays and musicals. She is a senior in high school and hopes to be pursuing this theater career the rest of her life. Sarah Grace Boyd (Opera Diva 1/First Nighter) is delighted to be in the cast of PHANTOM! Recent Artisan performances include STATE FAIR, MY FAIR LADY, and CITY OF STARS. She has also been seen in ZOMBIE PROM, INTO THE WOODS, (The Baker's Wife), ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (Lady Larken), and LITTLE WOMEN (Jo March). Outside of theatre, Sarah attends UNT College of Music, sings in her church choir, writes music, and spends lots of time with her dogs. Kevin Carter (Jean-Claude-Stage Manager/Joseph Buquet) is excited to return to the Artisan stage with this amazing cast and crew. He has previously performed with the Spartanburg Repertory Opera in THE MERRY WIDOW and as the Usher in TRIAL BY JURY. Locally, he played Hawking Clam in ONSTAGE in Bedford’s production of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. Most recently, he played George Banks in MARY POPPINS, here at Artisan. Noël Clark (Carlotta) feels so blessed to perform in PHANTOM under the direction of John Wilkerson! In a previous life, she was an Opera Apprentice with the Knoxville Opera Company and University of Tennessee, where she earned her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance. Some past performances were THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO (Cherubino), THE DIALOGUES OF THE CARMELITES (Blanche), THE TURN OF THE SCREW (Flora), ALBERT HERRING (Emmie) and THE FANTASTICKS (Luisa). Once married, she redirected her focus to family and teaching. She is a proud mother of 5 children (who have performed on the Artisan stages as well). Now she serves as the Music Director for Artisan Children's Theater and is the Private Voice and Piano teacher and a Musical Theater Instructor for Artisan Academy. She is ecstatic for the honor to be able to return to the stage, thanks to Artisan! You may have recently seen her in THE PIRATE QUEEN (Evleen) and SCROOGE (Mrs. Cratchit). Ginormous thanks go to husband and grandparents for constant support, and providing transportation and food to the children while she's at the theater!

Kirk Corley (Inspector LaDoux) is a frequent visitor to the Artisan stage, last seen as Joey in SISTER ACT, has also played a Pirate in THE PIRATE QUEEN, the black-clad Citizen Chauvelin in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, the German Professor Bhaer in LITTLE WOMEN, Uncle Stanley in SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, Ham in THE ARK, Spirit of Christmas Present in SCROOGE, and Sir Dinadan in CAMELOT. At other theaters he played Archibald Craven in THE SECRET GARDEN, Thuy in MISS SAIGON and Adam/Noah in CHILDREN OF EDEN. For 18 seasons he could be found bearded and robed on the stages of THE PROMISE both in Glen Rose, TX and Branson, MO.

Michelle Dulin (Belladova/Ballet Dancer 1/Ensemble) is 17 years old and this is her second performance with Artisan. She has been a member with Young Actors Guild for 5 years. Michelle did film work from age 4–10 years old. She has done musical theatre since she was 12 years old and has been dancing for 12 years with Texas Youth Ballet Conservatory. Some of Michelle's favorite roles in past shows is Swanhilda in COPPELIA, Alice in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and Tinkerbell in PETER PAN.

Shawna DeeAnn Graves (Chorus/First Nighter) started singing and playing piano when she was a child for church and local choirs. She was raised in a small town in Arizona and listened to Country music with her dad. She started writing music at a young age, but took it up again after her 4 children were all grown. She has a music album called ''Someone's Needed'' out in digital stores. Shawna has performed vocal solos at the University of North Texas, and the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas. She has sung in various local Dallas dance bands. She graduated from Actors, Models and Talent for Christ and studied Music Education at the University of North Texas. She currently teaches and conducts music at a local Dallas Church. She co-owns a non-profit Organization, “Service Mentors” and raises money for an Orphanage in Guatemala by hosting concerts.

He was in Gateway Church's production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF last summer, and his first Artisan production and first musical was GUYS AND DOLLS in 2015, also directed by John Wilkerson. Bree Mercer (Christine Daaé) is a soprano who graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor's in Music and Vocal Performance. While focusing on classical singing in high school and college, Bree has always had a profound love for music theatre and performing. In high school, Bree played Kim in BYE BYE BIRDIE, and in college she performed as Susanna and Amahl—two of her title operatic roles with ACU Operal. After graduating, Bree played Maria in SOUND OF MUSIC with a community theatre in the Abilene area. Bree is now a private voice instructor for Birdville and Northwest ISD and lives with her husband, Max, in Fort Worth.

Jeannie Miller (Christine Daaé) made her debut at Artisan this summer as Mary Poppins, and is excited to be back again as Christine Daaé in PHANTOM! Jeannie is a young, classical soprano pursuing a vocal performance degree at TCU, and has won several competitions, including the Classical Singer Competition, Schmidt Youth Vocal Competition, NATS, and the National YoungArts Foundation. She has also played the roles of Mother in Menotti’s AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS, Gretel in Humperdinck’s HANSEL AND GRETEL, and Laurie Moss in Copland’s THE TENDER LAND, as well as solos in Handel’s MESSIAH, Saint-Sean’s CHRISTMAS ORATORIO, and Nelson and Farrell’s SAVIOUR. Currently, she is a commissioned singer at Royal Lane Baptist Church and gives beginner piano lessons to both children and adults.

Her most favorite roles have been Dolly Tate in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Dorothy in THE WIZARD OF OZ, and Audry 2 in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Her most favorite role is Mom. She has been performing on and off stage in the DFW metroplex for 25 plus years. She loves ALL aspects of theatre. Her favorite credits include Zaneeta in THE MUSIC MAN, Dinah in THE PHILADELPHIA STORY, Liza in SEVEN BRIDES...BROTHERS all at Artisan, Lisa (the granddaughter) in THE PROMISE at GLEN ROSE, as well as TRUTHICAL and CHASING LIGHTS with Gateway Performing Arts. Rob Veal (Gérard Carrière) of Highland Village, Texas is pleased to return to the Artisan stage. His first production here was GUYS AND DOLLS in 2015. Rob is a vocalist/worship leader/producer/director/promoter, who recently transitioned to Executive Pastor. He has been comfortable on stage since age 5, but his greatest desire is to help others succeed in giving glory to God. With a degree in Radio/TV/Film and a Master's from Seminary, Mr. Veal is completing his 39th year in local church ministry. Now enjoying his "second half" of life, he was also seen in MARY POPPINS, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, and in THE TUMBLEWEED ROUNDUP. Mark Winter (Gérard Carrière) is thrilled to reprise this same role from Artisan’s 2011 production of PHANTOM. Audiences last saw him in 2016 as Ebenezer Scrooge in SCROOGE THE MUSICAL, one of his favorite roles. He has produced and directed dozens of shows including: NUNSENSE, ROMEO AND JULIET, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, HELLO DOLLY, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, TAMING OF THE SHREW, STATE FAIR, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, MY FAIR LADY, LES MISÉRABLES, and BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. As an actor, John has appeared all across the US including: Broadway—starring role in ABBY’S SONG, STATE FAIR with John Davidson and Andrea McArdle, and PETER PAN with Cathy Rigby. National tours: BRIGADOON with John Schneider, MAN OF LA MANCHA with Ed Ames, SOUTH PACIFIC (in which he understudied Robert Goulet and played Emile many times to critical acclaim) and with The 3 Redneck Tenors, who also appeared in Las Vegas and on America’s Got Talent. Off Broadway: BOYS FROM SYRACUSE, NEW MOON, and A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN (all part of City Center’s Encore Series) and CONFLICT OF INTEREST at The New Federal Theatre. Star of several world pemieres and many regional productions including Frederick in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE, Henry Higgins in MY FAIR LADY, Ben Stone in FOLLIES, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Father Flanagan in FATHER FLANAGAN’S DREAM, Abel Frake in STATE FAIR, and Emile in Dallas Theatre Center’s nationally acclaimed SOUTH PACIFIC, for which he received a Leon Rabin Award Nomination. John received third place in the Metropolitan Opera Competition and has many opera, operetta, and concert credits including: THE MAGIC FLUTE, SUSANNAH, FLEDERMAUS, THE MERRY WIDOW, PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and THE MIKADO. Love to wife, actress Margaret Shafer, sons, Michael and Shafer, daughter, Marcia, grandchildren, Payton, Jackson, and Lily, and godson, James.
Cassondra Plybon-HarbinCassondra Plybon-Harbin (Stage Manager) has been involved in over 60 shows at Artisan, including recent productions of LES MISÉRABLES and CITY OF STARS. In the time she has spent away from the theater she has gone off and gotten married and is enjoying married life, but is also happy to be back with the theater. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Richard GwozdzH. Richard Gwozdz (Resident Music Director) has music directed productions for many years at Artisan. Going back in time in the 8th/9th grade (1972) he played in rock band, Tejano/Rock Band. Management rip-off traded Hammond organ, electric piano, and Moog synthesizer for a sound system and turntables and became a DJ. DJ’d at Forum Ice Rink/Tandy Center Ice Rink; Played the Organ/CD’s at Will Rogers Coliseum/Fort Worth Convention Center for the Fort Worth Texans’ hockey games. Played heavy metal and a hockey game broke out. Enjoy PHANTOM.
Amy JonesAmy Elizabeth Jones (Choreographer) is delighted to be a part of PHANTOM! Amy has been in many Artisan productions including NUPTIALS, 42nd STREET, SEVEN BRIDES, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and BIG FISH, CITY OF STARS: DANCES FROM STAGE AND SCREEN, and was Assistant Director/Choreographer of PIRATE QUEEN. Most recently, Amy was the Choreographer for SISTER ACT. She also loves teaching at The Artisan Academy. Amy thanks her family for their love and support!
