Hannah Baker (Dancer) is an eighth-grader at Tison Middle School, in Weatherford. Hannah is returning for her second show at Artisan Center Theater. Some favorite roles include Teen Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL, Dance Ensemble in IN THE HEIGHTS, Ms. Hannigan in ANNIE JR and Agnes in MEET ME IN ST LOUIS.

Katie Billups (Ensemble) is very excited to be in OKLAHOMA! This is her third performance with Artisan, the previous ones being; LES MISÉRABLES and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. She began doing musical theatre almost four years ago. Since then, she has played Florinda in INTO THE WOODS JR, Pilar in LEGALLY BLONDE JR and Glinda in DOROTHY IN WONDERLAND. In her spare time, Katie likes to figure skate, draw and snuggle with her corgi, Anna.

Jessica Cope (Ado Annie) is thrilled to be making her debut at Artisan! Jessica has been recently seen as Tracy Turnblad in HAIRSPRAY and was nominated for Best Leading Actress at the Column Awards this past year! She would like to thank family, friends, cast, and the Lord for this opportunity. Jessica would like to dedicate this show to her father, who played Will Parker in 1976. Ann Dickman (Virginia) is happy to be involved onstage in OKLAHOMA—one of the shows on her bucket list of productions to be involved in. This will be her 5th show at Artisan. Her favorite role was Cora Britt in MUSIC MAN, as she was able to be in a production with her daughter and both of her grandkids. She is thankful that her husband, daughter and family enjoy spending time at Artisan, both on and off stage.

Dani Duda (Dancer) is a senior in high school, and has enjoyed her experience with Artisan already. She was in THE LITTLE MERMAID in the ensemble, and played Amber Von Tussle in HAIRSPRAY, and can’t wait to perform in OKLAHOMA. She’d like to thank her voice teacher, Noël Clark, her dance instructors, John Wilkerson for being a supporting director, and her wonderful family for allowing her to experience this.

Sami Duda (Ensemble) is thrilled to do her second show with the Artisan. Recently, she debuted in WEST SIDE STORY as Teresita, a Sharks girlfriend in the ensemble. Michelle Dulin (Dream Laurey) 18, is an accomplished dancer in her 13th year of training. Her dance credits include Swanhilda in COPPELIA and Tinkerbell in PETER PAN, all with Youth Ballet of Texas. Artisan credits include Silly Girl/Napkin in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Andrina in LITTLE MERMAID, Pauline/Francisca in WEST SIDE STORY and Belladova in PHANTOM. Michelle plans to study Musical Theatre in college. She would like to thank Margaret Wilkerson for her vocal instruction and her parents for their love and support.

Claire Ferguson (Dancer) is so happy to be making her debut at Artisan! Claire has been singing, acting, and dancing ever since she was little and has also participated in school plays, including A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Hermia) and CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN (Ernestine Gilbreth). Delaney Gebhart (Laurey) is excited to be a part of this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic along with family! She was last seen as Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Artisan. Meg Jakubik (Kate) is happy to have the opportunity to perform on stage again. She was previously seen as Vi Petty in BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY. Favorite productions include THE HIDING PLACE and WHITE CHRISTMAS. She is thankful that theatre has become a family affair and is excited to perform with her husband and mother, while her children cheer them on. Stephen Jakubik (Joe) is excited to appear in only his second production. He made his theatrical debut last year in THE PIRATE QUEEN while having the pleasure of sharing the stage with his son. Aaron Knight (Curly) is back for his third show at Artisan after featuring as Freddy in MY FAIR LADY and Curtis in SISTER ACT last year. Over the course of over twenty years in Musical Theater, he has performed in small community theaters as well as professional shows at places such as Bass Performance Hall. Abigail Moore (Virginia) disliked OKLAHOMA as a child, but has fallen in love with the music now that she has the opportunity to be a part of the production. This is her second play with Artisan Theater since she moved to the DFW area in 2014, and she absolutely loves the community theater atmosphere. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Geography and a minor in Dance in 2010. Coming from the streets of New York City, he is starting off his acting career strong by participating in his first musical production ever hosted by the glamorous Artisan Center Theater. She has done children’s theatre, second stage dance troupe, and three summer dance spectaculars with Amy Jones. Sarah Wilson (Dancer) is thrilled to make her Artisan debut in OKLAHOMA. Sarah has been performing in musicals for the past 5 years at the Actors Conservatory Theatre in Lewisville and has loved every second of it. Sarah Wood (Ensemble) is thrilled to make her debut at the Artisan with this amazing cast and crew of OKLAHOMA! She has always loved to sing, including her time with the University Singers while attending the University of Texas at Arlington. She is now a NICU nurse by day and an avid musical theatre fan by night. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support and encouraging her to try something new.

John WilkersonJohn Wilkerson (Director) received his Bachelor of Music Education from the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music (now Shenandoah University). He completed his graduate work in vocal performance at the State University of New York and placed third in the Metropolitan Opera competition. At the college, high school, and grade school levels, he taught voice classes, private voice, music theory, music appreciation, choir and band. He wrote curriculum, served as head of the Music Department, and directed many theatrical productions. As an athlete who also coached tennis and football, he instills in all of his students the discipline and drive to attain their personal best. In professional theatre, he has produced, directed and designed numerous musicals and plays. Some of the productions he has directed include: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, MY FAIR LADY, PHANTOM, PROPOSALS, BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, BRIGADOON, GUYS AND DOLLS, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, and WHITE CHRISTMAS (Artisan) and THE SOUND OF MUSIC, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, HELLO DOLLY, ROMEO AND JULIET, and THE TAMING OF THE SHREW at other venues. As a performer, Mr. Wilkerson is not only known for his vocal prowess, but for his acting skills and ability to convey the emotion and meaning of a piece with amazing subtlety. Broadway: STATE FAIR with John Davidson, Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie, and PETER PAN with Cathy Rigby. National tours: BRIGADOON with John Schneider, MAN OF LA MANCHA with Ed Ames, STATE FAIR, and PETER PAN. In a national tour of SOUTH PACIFIC, he understudied Robert Goulet in the role of Emile and was privileged to play the role many times, receiving standing ovations and critical acclaim. Off-Broadway: a starring role in ABBY’S SONG, in which several of the songs were written for him, The President of the United States in CONFLICT OF INTEREST at the New Federal Theatre, CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS at Manhattan Theatre Club, BOYS FROM SYRACUSE, and A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN, both part of the critically acclaimed City Center’s Encore Series. He has enjoyed starring roles in several world premieres and in many regional productions including Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA, Frederick in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE, Henry Higgins in MY FAIR LADY, Ben Stone in FOLLIES, and Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. He is very proud to have played Emile in the Dallas Theatre Center production of SOUTH PACIFIC, which was nationally acclaimed and for which he was nominated for the Leon Rabin award. He has appeared in numerous operas and operettas, with philharmonics, symphonies and chamber orchestras. Mr. Wilkerson spent three years touring as one of the Three Redneck Tenors (though he is neither a redneck nor a tenor!). He and his wife, singer/actress Margaret, also produced the critically-acclaimed STATE FAIR, called by one critic “one of the best productions Dallas has seen.” The couple founded the very successful Musical Theatre Institute, which, through summer camps, workshops and private lessons, provides professional instruction and guidance offered by performers with experience living and working in New York City. Much love to his wife, actress Margaret Shafer Wilkerson, sons, Michael and Shafer, daughter-in-law, Marcia and grandchildren, Payton, Jackson and Lily.

Rian Slay (Assistant Director/Ensemble) is thrilled to be assisting John again. This time she gets to sneak onstage as well as helping out behind the scenes! Favorite shows she has worked on-both on and off stage-include HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS (Director), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Assistant Director), PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (Movement Ensemble), and THE GREATEST DANCE SHOW (Dance Ensemble). Hannah SimpsonHannah Simpson (Production Stage Manager) is honored to be a part of the production team for this outstanding show. Some of her credits include, SEUSSICAL JR. (Stage Manager), LES MISERABLES (Student Stage Manager), and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Assistant Stage Manager). She would like to thank her grandparents for helping her find her passion for theatre, parents for supporting her, friends for always putting up with her, and her crazy cousin from Canada, who asked for a shoutout.
Megan GuerraMegan Guerra (Rehearsal Stage Manager) was raised in Moore, OK, studied at Rose State College, and finished her degree at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. Guerra believes that all forms of live performance help to educate the community on the parts of culture often missed in this day and age. Of her achievements, the most rewarding is her previous experience performing in multiple children’s operas. Technical theatre credits include Assistant Director for MARTHA and BYE BYE BIRDIE and Stage Manager for shows like TOSCA and LA TRAVIATA. Other achievements include leading roles in MARTHA, STARBIRD, PIRATES OF PENZANCE, LITTLE WOMEN, DER SCHAUSPIELDIREKTOR, THE TELEPHONE, GUYS AND DOLLS, and OKLAHOMA!

Kristi Lee Smith (Choreographer/Ado Annie) is ecstatic to be in her first show at Artisan. She has her MA in Drama from TWU. Her favorite shows include LEGALLY BLONDE the MUSICAL (Elle Woods), RABBIT HOLE (Becca), ONE FLEW OVER the CUCKOO’S NEST (Nurse Ratched). Richard GwozdzH. Richard Gwozdz (Music Director) was MD at Theatre Arlington, Onstage, Garland Civic Theatre, and Casa Manana. Conducted Faure, Mozart, Cherubini, and Durufle’s Requiem with full orchestra/chorus. Conducted at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus. Performed in the Orchestra at Casa Manana, Bass Hall, Artes De La Rosa Theatre, Greater Lewisville Community Theatre, Uptown Theater Grand Prairie, Tarrant County College and OhLook Theater. Audition Pianist for Artisan Center Theater, Casa Manana, Lyric Theatre, Cirque Del Sol and Six Flags Over Texas.
