Samantha BajoneroSamantha Bajonero (Servant/Chorus) has been acting since she was 3 when she starred in her first musical, ANNIE, as Molly. She has been in many productions like SCROOGE, MIRACLE WORKER, and UBU. Her favorite is THE MARVELOUS PLAYBILL, where she appeared as Dona Marta. Other than singing, acting, and dancing, Samantha enjoys playing the piano and her ukulele and making short films. James BellJames Bell (Zoltan Karpathy) is excited to be in his first play here at Artisan Theater. Sarah BoydSarah Boyd (Dancer/Servant) is excited to be a part of MY FAIR LADY. She was last seen on the Artisan stage in STATE FAIR, and has also performed in LITTLE WOMEN (playing one of her favorite roles as Jo March) and ONCE UPON A MATTRESS at Birdville High School. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys playing piano and volunteering at animal shelters. She would like to thank her family and Jesus Christ.
Megan BradyMegan Brady (Lady Boxington) is thrilled to be a part of MY FAIR LADY. This is her first show at Artisan and she is grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing talent. Megan is the mother of three children and wants to thank her family for the sacrifices they had made for her to be in this production. She is grateful for her friends and voice teacher who have always supported her.
Richard BuswoldRichard Buswold (Col. Pickering) has performed as Billy Sykes in OLIVER and Alfred P. Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY at Coppell Community Theatre and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Artisan. He is a casino dealer, and enjoys creating balloon animals in his free time. He would like to thank his wife, Lori, and hopes he gets a good review.
Louise ChildsLouise Childs (Mrs. Higgins) has been a volunteer driver for Kitty Baker’s Senior Arts Program, taking Irving residents to plays and concerts all over the metroplex, since moving to Texas. After seeing a number of shows at Artisan, she decided to get involved in Hurst and this will be her 15th show here. Her favorite roles are Mrs. Shinn, Clairee, and Mrs. Higgins. She has worked as a volunteer for ICT Mainstage, Lyric Stage, ONSTAGE in Bedford, and The Las Colinas Symphony, where she serves on the board and handle concessions. She has also done shows at Firehouse Theatre and GLCT. Theater is her passion and hobby, and thanks God and her husband for their patience and love.
Danielle DownsDanielle Downs (Servant/Chorus) is immensely delighted to be back at Artisan, to be a part of one of her favorite musicals, MY FAIR LADY. When she's not involved in a show, she is heavily involved in singing, public speaking, and running track. Julina DurlingJulina Durling (Servant/Chorus) is honored and excited to be appearing in MY FAIR LADY, her third show with Artisan! When Julina isn't performing, she enjoys painting and watching Netflix. She is thankful to God, as well as John, for this opportunity! Evan FarisEvan Faris (Col. Pickering) is delighted to be back at Artisan for his second show, having previously played the role of Mr. Lundie in the 2010 production of BRIGADOON. Evan has also been in productions at Theatre Arlington, Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Graham Regional Theatre, and Weatherford's Theatre off the Square. Some of his favorite roles have been Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Andre Thibault in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, Jonathan Brewster in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, and George Hay in MOON OVER BUFFALO. When not performing, Evan is a private chef and caterer. This will be his third year as a guest chef for the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival. Evan would like to thank his wife, Janie, and the rest of his family for putting up with his craziness!
Talia FischerTalia Luna Fischer (Eliza Doolittle) is a new arrival from Colorado, and is a passionate, experienced performer who frequently appears in operatic and musical theatre productions. Her most recent appearance was in Grand Prairie Arts Council’s production of HANSEL AND GRETEL as the Mother. Previous roles include the Dew Fairy in HANSEL AND GRETEL, Monica in THE MEDIUM, and Lady Saphir in PATIENCE. Talia graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in December 2015.
Stan GranerStan Graner (Henry Higgins) made his Artisan debut in 2009 playing Henry Higgins, and is honored to return to play him again. He’s performed regionally at Amphibian Stage Productions, Casa Mañana, Circle Theatre, Contemporary Theatre of Dallas, Garland Summer Musicals, Kitchen Dog Theatre, Lyric Stage, One Thirty Productions, Stage West, Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Theatre Three, Uptown Players, and WaterTower Theatre. Stan is the winner of a DFW Theater Critics Forum award and several Column Awards. Thank you Director John Wilkerson for entrusting the beloved Professor to me once again!
Damian GravinoDamian Gravino (Alfred P. Doolittle) is new to Texas, and excited to be in his first show with Artisan Theater. Damian's past roles include Sweeney in SWEENEY TODD, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Fagin in OLIVER, and Cyrano de Bergerac in CYRANO DE BERGERAC. Damian received the Marcom Masque Award for best actor in a musical for his favorite role of Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA. Marisa HamptonMarisa Hampton (Dancer/Servant) is happy to be returning to Artisan Center Theater. Since the age of 8, she has enjoyed performing in several musical theater productions at Casa Manana, Dallas Children’s Theater, and Theatre Arlington. Marisa also enjoys film. In October, she completed her second full-length feature SAG film entitled ‘The Reliant.’ She had a co-lead role in the film, which also starred Kevin Sorbo and Eric Roberts. Jeremiah 29:11
Mary HannaMary Hanna (Mrs. Pearce) is thrilled to be a part of MY FAIR LADY. Her other acting credits include Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, A NIGHT OF MOZART’S OPERETTAS at University of Arkansas Performing Arts Center, and Edith in JAKE’S WOMEN at Muskogee Community Theatre. Her hobbies and passions include playing comedic, ridiculous characters in shows, music, sports, beauty pageants, and speaking for her platform for Breast Cancer Awareness. Amanda HollisAmanda Hollis (Eliza Doolittle) is a native of Abilene, TX, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Church Music (McMurry University), and a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance (Hardin-Simmons University). From children’s church musicals to the professional stage, Amanda has many performance credits to her name, including Adele in DIE FLEDERMAUS, Pamina in THE MAGIC FLUTE, Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN, Despina in COSI FAN TUTTI, Nun in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Claire in THE SECRET GARDEN. Amanda is currently serving as the music minister at Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson.
Denise JasperDenise Jasper (Mrs. Eynsford-Hill) is delighted to once again be on the Artisan stage. BYE BYE BIRDIE was her debut at the Artisan and she had tons of fun. Other acting credits with Artisan include STATE FAIR and SCROOGE – THE MUSICAL. She has also been in HELLO, DOLLY, WIZARD OF OZ, INTO THE WOODS, SHREK, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, OLIVER, and MARY POPPINS, all with GPAC. Favorite roles have been as the Mayor's Wife in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Stepmother in INTO THE WOODS, and Bird Woman in MARY POPPINS. She is blessed to have steadfast love and support from her wonderful family and amazing friends.
Aaron KnightAaron Knight (Freddy Eynsford-Hill) is performing for the first time at Artisan. His favorite role played was Joseph in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, as well as Chorus in 42ND STREET and THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Bass Performance Hall. Aaron is the owner of Blackbox Concerts, a Ft. Worth-based concert promoter and winner of Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards "Best Talent Buyer" three years in a row. When not performing, Aaron enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife, Jamie, and 2 children, Christian and Kyleigh.
Heather KrebelHeather Krebel (Dancer/Servant) is happy to be a member of the Artisan family. She is a student of Faustina Academy and enjoys singing, dancing, and cheerleading. Heather has had roles in several productions, including Anne in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Mrs. Boyle in THE MOUSETRAP, Volta in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and Ensemble in STATE FAIR. Jane LyonJane Lyon (Mrs. Higgins) has been married to her husband, Brent, for 33 years, and together they have 4 children. While she has a degree from Texas A&M in Agriculture Journalism, her love for singing and engaging her own children in the fine arts grew to starting her business 12 years ago, bringing a professionally-developed, standards-based pre-school music and movement curriculum to area child care centers. She now has a staff of 3 part-time teachers helping her at 20 schools.
Tom McWhorterTom McWhorter (Alfred P. Doolittle) is delighted to be making his debut with Artisan Center Theater. He was recently seen playing The Innkeeper in Garland Summer Musicals’ production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. He has also performed in COTTON PATCH GOSPEL and THE BUTLER DID IT with Garland Civic Theatre. Other recent credits include Bishop of Digne in LES MISERABLES with Music Theatre of Denton, KING LEAR at Shakespeare Dallas, ROMEO AND JULIET at Firehouse Theatre, FU MANCHU at Pocket Sandwich Theatre, and OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY, THE REMARKABLE MR. PENNYPACKER, and BLACK COMEDY at Rover Dramawerks. He has also appeared in a few print ads and a couple of nationally-distributed training films. Prior to taking a 20-year hiatus to help raise his children, he enjoyed leading roles in THE KING AND I, THE MUSIC MAN, and OUR TOWN. He is a guitar strummer, a piano student, and enjoys hiking with his wife, Cindy. He gives God the glory for leading him to the theater, and thanks to his family and friends for their enthusiastic support.
Alyssa MeekinsAlyssa Meekins (Servant/Chorus) is thrilled to have a chance to be on the Main Stage! She is seventeen years old and sang in choirs for seven years. Her first and favorite role was Mrs. Potts in Artisan Children's Theater's production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. She would like to thank her parents, choir teachers, and piano teacher for her music education, and her best friends, Emma and Gretchen, for always encouraging her to pursue her dreams.
Travis MillerTravis Miller (Zoltan Karpathy) is excited for the opportunity to work with John Wilkerson and this wonderful cast. This is his eighteenth production at the Artisan Theater, appearing most recently in SCROOGE. Travis appeared in the movie ‘Leap of Faith’ and is a veteran of the stage. Some of his favorite roles have been Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Jacob in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE, Benjamin Franklin in 1776, and Big Daddy in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.
Tamera MillerTamera Miller (Mrs. Eynsford-Hill) is very excited to be a part of MY FAIR LADY. She has a lot of fun working at the Artisan and has been in many productions here. Some of her favorite roles were Morgan Le Fay in CAMELOT, Matilda in ALL SHOOK UP, and Vi Moore in FOOTLOOSE. Most recently she appeared on stage in STATE FAIR. Jessica OlsonJessica Olson (Lady Boxington) is thrilled to be participating in MY FAIR LADY—her first theatrical production since high school. Back then, she was known for playing the Tin Man (yes, you read that right) in THE WIZARD OF OZ and Chiffon in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. She loves to sing, is mother to two blue-eyed children, and thinks everything in life is better with peanut butter.
Cara PanicoCara Panico (Servant/Chorus) is excited to be in her first Artisan Theater production. Cara is a music major at University of Texas at Dallas. Her favorite previous roles include Dorothy Parker in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE at Acting Studio Grapevine, Doo-Wop Girl #5 in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at TCC NE Playhouse, and Silly Girl and Gingy in BEST OF BROADWAY VII at UT Dallas Comet Theatre Company. Duncan ParkesDuncan Parkes (Jamie) is very excited to be in MY FAIR LADY! Duncan has had the privilege of being in several Artisan Children’s and Main Stage productions over the last few years. His favorites include Flat Top in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Karl the Giant in BIG FISH, PINKIE AND BLUE, and YOU CAN’T STOP THE BEAT. Cameron PottsCameron Potts (Freddy Eynsford-Hill) is excited to make his return to the stage after several years away from the theatre! He was last seen as Grantaire in LES MISERABLES at Music Theatre of Denton, and on Artisan’s stage as Bill Calhoun in KISS ME KATE. Other recent credits include: Dennis in ALL SHOOK UP at the Granbury Opera House and Jean-Michel in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES at GLCT. He is a graduate of the UNT School of Theatre and a member of the Equity Membership Candidacy Program.
Brendon RamseyBrendon Ramsey (Jamie) was not involved in theatre until he was a senior in high school. He enjoyed seeing the shows, but did not have the courage to become a part of one. During his senior year, his school settled on a show that caught his attention, ADDAMS FAMILY THE MUSICAL. He auditioned and made the singing ensemble, and has been hooked since. This past semester, he volunteered on the technical side of THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Creekview High School, where he graduated, and found that he enjoyed tech just as much as he enjoyed being on stage. This is his third show to be involved in, and couldn't be more excited. He thanks the Wilkerson family for supporting his desire to be in theatre, and for helping make this happen. He would also like to thank his family for always pushing him to do his best.
Adam RichardAdam Richard (Lord Boxington/Harry) returns to the Artisan Main Stage for his 2nd theater performance ever. Adam was first seen at the Artisan this past Fall as Lem in STATE FAIR. Adam has enjoyed learning the parts of Harry and Lord Boxington in this production of MY FAIR LADY, and he thinks it is his favorite role so far. Outside of the Artisan, Adam works for the amazing Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, and spends most of his spare time serving in the First Baptist Euless Worship Ministry as a worship leader on the praise team. David SikorskiDavid Sikorski (Lord Boxington/Harry) is thrilled to be in another production here at Artisan! He made his acting debut as Officer Klein in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, and danced away in his musical debut in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG last year. David can be frequently seen singing in the adult choir at Countryside Bible Church. In his spare time, he has many hobbies, including voice acting, cooking, and video games. Meg SteffensMeg Steffens (Servant/Chorus) is so excited to be a part of this production at Artisan! Her past shows include WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, 44 PLAYS FOR 44 PRESIDENTS, SUMMER AND SMOKE, SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL, and THE BOYFRIEND. She also likes to make people laugh, being on her college's improv team for 4 years in a row. She is never too tired to crack a joke to make you smile.
Madie StelzerMadie Stelzer (Dancer/Servant) is so excited to perform in her eighth show here at Artisan! Some of her favorite roles have been Margy Frake in STATE FAIR and Dinah in STARLIGHT EXPRESS. She is so thankful for another opportunity to work with the wonderful John Wilkerson, and she is so excited for new opportunities to come her way. Anna WindleAnna Windle (Servant/Chorus) is a teacher by day, theatre geek by night. Anna Windle is thrilled to be performing in her second production at Artisan. She had such fun in THE MIRACLE WORKER last spring, and, as she wrote her senior thesis on Pygmalion, is ecstatic to be part of MY FAIR LADY, a show very dear to her. She is grateful to God, her friends, and her family for their constant, never-ceasing support.
Avery WithersAvery Withers (Dancer/Servant) is very excited to be doing her fourth show at Artisan! Her previous credits include TOM SAWYER, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and BYE BYE BIRDIE. She also has performed on the Artisan Children’s Theater stage as May in JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL. Over the summer, she was delighted to participate in the New York University Tisch High School Summer Program at the Meisner Studio. John WilkersonJohn Wilkerson (Directoris ecstatic to direct MY FAIR LADY for a second time at Artisan! John directed STATE FAIR, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and BAREFOOT IN THE PARK for Artisan last year. He has also directed WHITE CHRISTMAS, BRIGADOON, PHANTOM, PROPOSALS, SWING, LES MISERABLES, CATS, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, and GUYS AND DOLLS. John has produced and directed dozens of shows. As an actor, John has appeared all across the United States, including Broadway, touring companies, and regional theatres. Locally, he played Emile de Becque in Dallas Theatre Center’s SOUTH PACIFIC, for which he received a Leon Rabin Award nomination. He sends his love to his wife, actress Margaret Shafer, sons Michael and Shafer, daughter, Marcia, and grandchildren, Payton, Jackson, and Lilly.
Amy Elizabeth JonesAmy Elizabeth Jones (Choreographer) is delighted to be a part of MY FAIR LADY! Amy has choreographed a great many Artisan productions, including SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, BIG FISH, and many more. She most recently choreographed and appeared in STATE FAIR. Amy can be seen hosting specials on KERA. She is proud to have just earned her Master's Degree in Drama. Hannah CooperHannah Cooper (Stage Manager) is excited to be involved in her 10th Artisan production and her 2nd time as stage manager! Some past favorite roles include Emma in EMMA and Cecily Cardew in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, here at Artisan. She currently accompanies vocal students at DBU, but hopes to do editorial work one day. She enjoys music, working out, and blogging. Rian SlayRian Slay (Assistant Director) is thrilled  to be working on MY FAIR LADY. She’s been the Assistant Director at Artisan for GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and STATE FAIR, and occasionally joins her friends on stage as well. Most recently, she directed HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS on Artisan’s Second Stage. Thanks to John for taking a chance on a girl with no voice, the #FoodCrew for their constant support, and her parents for encouraging her to chase her crazy dreams.
Wendy Searcy-WoodeWendy Searcy-Woode (Scenic & Set Designer) is in her second season as the Scenic Design/Build Director here at Artisan Center Theater. Wendy designed and built all the Artisan Main Stage sets for 2016 season including,  STATE FAIR, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BYE BYE BIRDIE, BIG FISH, FOREVER PLAID, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, among others. For the Children’s Theater she designed sets for THE CAT IN THE HAT, THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and others. With 25 years of theatre experience on and off the stage, she brings her passion and is completely grateful to be doing what she loves most. She would like to thank her family for their continued love and support.
Nita CadenheadNita Cadenhead (Costume Designer) is pleased to be costuming this show a second time, and to be working again with the inimitable and immensely talented John Wilkerson. Previous shows costumed at Artisan include BIG FISH (Column Award nominee for Best Costume Design and a personal favorite), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, and SECRET GARDEN. She also costumed INTO THE WOODS, THE WHALE, and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST at other regional theaters.
