Valarie AbrahamValarie Abraham (Lucille Ballard) is so excited to be in her first production at Artisan! She is a junior at Travis Academy of Fine Arts, where she is involved in the theatre and varsity choir programs. Past shows include MARY POPPINS, SEUSSICAL JR, and LEGALLY BLONDE JR. Ben CarverBen Carver (Sidney Purvis) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful production! He grew up doing musical theatre as a kid and now enjoys participating in his school’s choir and drama programs as a senior at Travis Academy. Bri deLatourBri deLatour (Ensemble) is a freshman at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy, and is excited to perform in her first Artisan show and second musical. In her spare time, Bri enjoys dancing and costuming at her school shows. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her, as well as the Lord for blessing her with this opportunity. Izzy DeLoIzzy DeLo (Agnes Smith) is excited to be in her first show with Artisan Theater! She is a 4th-grader at FWAFA and has trained at Casa Mañana and Texas Ballet Theater School since age 3. She has performed in Ben Stevenson’s THE NUTCRACKER (Party Girl) at Bass Hall, FROG AND TOAD at Casa Mañana (Turtle) and many church productions with her Music praise choir at Christ Chapel Bible Church. She thanks God, her family, grandparents and voice teacher, D’lytha Myers for supporting her dreams!

Kelvin DilksKelvin Dilks (Grandpa Prophater) returns to the Artisan stage after a two-year absence. Last seen as the intoxicated Judge in STATE FAIR and Mr. MacAfee in BYE BYE BIRDIE. He co-directed NUNSENSE and ANNIE last year. When not performing, Kelvin serves on the Birdville ISD School Board.

Larkin FeltsLarkin Felts (Lon Smith) is honored to be back for his third show on the Artisan stage. His first two shows for this theater were MARY POPPINS (Neleus) and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES (Mr. Phillips). Credits outside of Artisan include THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Jimmy), PINOCCHIO (Pinocchio), and MARY POPPINS (Robertson Ay). Larkin is a senior at Travis Academy of Fine Arts. He’d like to thank God, first and foremost, Rebecca, and the Blairs for the opportunity, and his family for the wave of support. ‘‘Soli Deo Gloria!’’

Zach GriffisZach Griffis (Peewee Drummond) is excited and honored to be performing at Artisan Center Theater for the first time. He is an eighth-grader at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy, studying vocal music. Zach has had the privilege of performing SEUSSICAL JR (Jojo), ANNIE JR (Daddy Warbucks), THE MUSIC MAN (Winthrop), and will be in THE LITTLE MERMAID JR (Sebastian) in the spring. Family and friends have been so supportive throughout the years and he is so grateful for each and every one. Zach would also like to thank the Artisan, Rebecca Roberts (director), and the cast and crew for such an amazing experience at the Artisan.

Amanda HollisAmanda Hollis (Mrs. Anna Smith) returns to the Artisan stage after performing in THE SECRET GARDEN (Chorus), MY FAIR LADY (Eliza Doolittle) and ANNIE (Grace Farrell). A native of Abilene, Amanda holds degrees in Church Music and Vocal Performance, and currently serves as the Music Minister at Arapaho UMC in Richardson. She is excited to perform with her daughter, Amelia, who is playing her stage daughter, Tootie!

Amelia HollisAmelia Hollis (Tootie Smith) is ecstatic to be in her third show with Artisan Theater, and to perform with her mother, Amanda Hollis, who is playing her mother on stage, too!  In addition to being active in children's choir at her church and 4 years of studying cello with the HEB Suzuki Strings program, Amelia's role credits include: THE SECRET GARDEN (Ghost/Chorus) and LES MISÉRABLES (Little Cosette). She is grateful to portray Tootie and looks forward to her next performance opportunity.

Caroline JohnsonCaroline Johnson (Ensemble) is so excited to be involved in her first show at the Artisan! Dan JohnstonDan Johnston (Postman/Motorman) is pleased to be returning to Artisan in one of his favorite musicals. Some of Dan's favorites, at Artisan, include THE FOREIGNER, SOUTH PACIFIC, BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. Dan serves on the board of Artisan and spends time with his grandchildren. Layci JonesElaycia “Layci” Jones (Mrs. Anna Smith) is excited to be returning to the stage performing her third show at ACT. She is overjoyed to be bringing such a family treasure to life with this wonderful cast. Some of her previous show credits include: CATS (Grizabella the Glamour Cat), THE PIRATE QUEEN, GODSPELL, THE MIRACLE WORKER (Anne Sullivan) and is currently serving in Gateway Church’s musical production CHASING LIGHTS. Aaron KnightAaron Knight (Mr. Alonzo Smith) is making his fourth appearance on the Artisan stage. In addition to having recently played Curly in OKLAHOMA, he has also played Freddy in MY FAIR LADY, and Curtis in SISTER ACT. After this show, he will perform in 2019 as Pulitzer in NEWSIES in the next Artisan Main Stage show. Aaron would like to thank his wife, Jamie, for letting him come play with his friends at Artisan in the evenings.

Megan LagemannMegan Lagemann (Esther Smith) is very excited to be cast in her first musical performance at Artisan Center Theater. She previously performed as Luisa in THE FANTASTICKS, among other productions. She is in her final semester at Dallas Baptist University where she studies Vocal Performance. Eva MaganaEva Magaña (Agnes Smith) debuted on the Artisan stage at age 4 and has been performing for over half of her life! Last year, she starred as Annie in ANNIE, played Young Cosette in LES MISÉRABLES, and spent her summer as a chimney sweep in MARY POPPINS. She has appeared in 16 Artisan shows and as an Artisan Ambassador. Eva is the 3rd of 4 sisters, like her character, Agnes. She is a member of the Hurst Euless Bedford Elementary Honor Choir.

Ruby MaganaRuby Magaña (Tootie Smith) last performed on Artisan’s Main Stage as Molly in ANNIE, after making her debut as Young Cosette in LES MISÉRABLES. She also loved being in THE LITTLE MERMAID and PINKALICIOUS at Artisan Children’s Theater. Ruby has been watching her four older siblings perform her whole life. Ruby’s parents would like to thank the cast and crew for guiding and encouraging her, and to the directors for giving her this opportunity to grow and shine.

Adam NeuvilleAdam Neuville (Sidney Purvis) is excited to be in his first show at Artisan Theater. Adam is a freshman at Harwood Junior High where he enjoys being on the robotics team, being a member of NJHS, and singing in the mixed choir. Adam was recently selected for the Region 31 Honor choir. Adam also enjoys Boy Scouts and weather-watching. He wants to thank his family for always supporting him.

Dan Nolen, Jr.Dan Nolen, Jr. (Grandpa Prophater) is delighted to be involved in his 110th production at Artisan, 48 on stage and 62 behind the scenes—sets, props, costumes and directing. Recent show appearances: Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Grandpa in CHITTY, and Ben Weatherstaff in SECRET GARDEN. Favorite roles: Norman Thayer, Jr. in ON GOLDEN POND and Pellinore in CAMELOT. Cameron PottsCameron Potts (John Truitt) is excited to be returning for his 4th show at Artisan after a hiatus. He was last seen at Artisan as Freddy in MY FAIR LADY and as Bill Calhoun in KISS ME KATE. Other selected regional credits include: Grantaire in LES MISÉRABLES (Music Theatre of Denton) and Dennis in ALL SHOOK UP (Granbury Opera House). When not on stage, Cameron serves the DFW community as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, specializing in Retirement/Estate Planning and Educational Funding.

His credits include Jamie in MY FAIR LADY, Paul Wakowski in IN-LAWS, OUTLAWS, AND OTHER PEOPLE (THAT SHOULD BE SHOT), Gilbert Hinkley/Officer in the U.S. premiere of THE WIDOW, and most recently Jud Fry in OKLAHOMA. Patrick RamseyPatrick Ramsey (Peewee Drummond) is ecstatic to be in his first main stage production at Artisan! He has performed in several Artisan Children’s Theater productions, and many others prior to finding his Artisan family. A few favorite roles include Snoopy in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, Mr. Mayor in SEUSSICAL, and Grandpa Joe in WILLY WONKA JR. Patrick is a homeschooled senior and loves art, music, and cats. He grew up playing various instruments, which includes the banjo, guitar, and piano. Arthur currently attends TAFA, alongside two of his castmates. Chris SeilChris Seil (Postman/Motorman) plays in his 42nd show; his 25th at Artisan. He recently played Doc in Artisan’s WEST SIDE STORY. He originated the male lead role of Father Ten Boom in the Studio A production of THE WEAVING at the Lincoln Center in New York City. He has directed junior high plays, including DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. Thanks to Rebecca for casting him in her awesome show, and to wife, Sally, for her support.

Meredith StoweMeredith Stowe (Rose Smith) is thrilled to be a part of MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS! She has performed in many other shows before this one. This is her first show at Artisan since playing Milly Pontipee in SEVEN BRIDES...BROTHERS (2014). She has a family and friends, a german shepherd, and lots of hobbies to keep her busy in her free time. Jacob Taylor, a.k.a., Warren Sheffield, is her one true love. Rebecca RobertsRebecca Roberts (Director) is so excited to be returning to Artisan as a first-time director! She costumed 20+ Artisan shows from 2011–2014, and performed in several—including June Sanders (SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN), Beth March (LITTLE WOMEN), and more. Rebecca just graduated from Texas A&M with a double major in Psychology and Performance Studies, and a minor in English. Rebecca is so thankful for all the support from her family and friends during this crazy experience!
Chanie Thomas (Choreographer) is excited to be a part of this marvelous show! Credits are Choreographer for IN THE HEIGHTS, DAMN YANKEES, GYPSY, PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, ALADDIN, and LITTLE SHOP. Chanie is currently attending KD Conservatory Studios. She wants to thank GOD for giving her so many blessings, and her family for always supporting her.
Megan GuerraMegan Guerra (Stage Manager) is so excited to be working this production at Artisan! Guerra was raised in Moore, OK. and trained at the University of Central Oklahoma. Credits include Stage-Managing OKLAHOMA, RIGOLETTO, and LA TRIVIATA, performing leading roles in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, LITTLE WOMEN, THE SECRET GARDEN, and GUYS AND DOLLS, and Assistant-Directing multiple operas. She would like to thank the Blairs, Rebecca Roberts, her family, friends, and most of all her husband, James, for the opportunities and support!
Richard GwozdzH. Richard Gwozdz (Music Director) is excited in working in his 52nd musical at Artisan Center Theater since 2010. Started playing the piano at 8 years old. Worked with Texas Boy’s Choir, sang for President Kennedy, Ed Sullivan Show, Perry Como Show, Grammy Award recordings, and toured the United States and Europe. Richard is Music Director at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas, Maintenance Secretary for USPS, Pianist at Edelweiss German Restaurant, and earned the 2016 DFW Theater Critics Forum Orchestral Conducting Award.
