Jessica is super excited to be a part of her first musical at Artisan! Some of her other shows include SONIA FLEW (Pilar), RADIUM GIRLS (Grace), OKLAHOMA! (Ado Annie), THE MIRACLE WORKER (Helen Keller), THE CRUCBLE (Abigail), along many others. She is so grateful for this opportunity! Jessica wants to thank God, her family and friends for all the support!
Alison Borish
Role: Kathy Cratchit
Alison is very excited to be part of SCROOGE! Other favorite acting credits include: MULAN JR (Mulan), PHANTOM (young girl), ANNIE (Homeless child), DOROTHY & THE WIZARD OF OZ (Dorothy), LES MISERABLES (Young Cosette), MARY POPPINS (Mary Poppins), BRIGADOON (chorus) and several ARTIES SHOWS. Her dream is to someday be on Broadway. She would like to thank her family for their support and God for the gift of song.
Ellen Borish

Ellen is excited to be in her 2nd show at the Artisan. She was in PHANTOM (chorus). She has been involved behind the scenes for several shows doing props, costuming and anything else that needed doing. She would like to thank her talented daughter Alison and her family for their support and God for his everlasting love.
Paul Borish
Role: Bissett/Phantom Quartet/Nephew’s Party Guest
Paul is both excited and nervous about this show since it’s his first time performing on stage since the 6th grade. He is becoming more involved with the Artisan along with his daughter (Alison) and wife (Ellen) who are also part of this show. Paul would like to thank both Alison and Ellen for all their guidance along the way and prays he doesn’t “break a leg”.
Shelby Alysa Burleson
Role: Toy Ballet
Shelby aspires to be an actress as her future career choice. Shelby has been in ballet and tap for over 5 years and been in numerous school musicals and plays. She was awarded 1st place in a talent competition at the Superkid Academy Fort Worth Believer Convention 2007, for a dance she performed with her siblings. Shelby has also done a promotional ad for the BVOV Broadcast and acted in G.I.R.L. T.A.L.K. Most recently she could be seen in the films Sybil Ludington and New.
Tiffany Carter
Role: Phantom Skater/ Dancer
Tiffany is excited to be back on the Artisan stage for SCROOGE! She has been in four previous shows here, including PHANTOM as Fleure, CAMELOT as Lady Natalia, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS as Chorus. She has always had a passion for acting and is extremely grateful for the opportunities she has been blessed with. She would like to thank her Lord and Savior, her family and friends for their support, the cast, and the directors and crew!
Robin Carter
Role: Mrs. Pringle
Robin has always enjoyed acting in church productions. She was encouraged by her daughter, Tiffany, to pursue her dream of auditioning. She is excited to share this first community performance with her daughter and wonderful cast. She would like to thank God, her family, and the directors for allowing her to be in this amazing show!
Donna Cates

Donna favorite roles at Artisan have been Dolly Levi in HELLO DOLLY!, Constance in THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, Sister Mary Regina in NUNSENSE, and herself in SWING! Donna enjoys spending her free time doing shows with her children. She would like to thank God for her parents, her family, her friends, and for her children, who are the lights of her life!
Taryn Cates
Role: Kathy Cratchit
Taryn is thrilled to be a part of SCROOGE at Artisan! She recently played Brigetta in THE SOUND OF MUSIC and Jemima in Artisan’s Summer Broadway Camp production of CATS. Her favorite role was Tootie in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS at Artisan. Taryn has also enjoyed roles at Theatre Arlington and CATS. Taryn is an A honor roll student, and she loves cheerleading, volleyball and basketball. Taryn would like to thank her mom, her brother, her grandparents, the rest of her family and friends, and God for her wonderful life.
Tevin Cates

Tevin has most recently appeared as Gad in JOSEPH and Shang in MULAN, JR, both at Artisan. His favorite roles include Mouthpiece in WEST SIDE STORY, Jesse Aarons in Bridge to BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA at Theatre Arlington, and Bert in MARY POPPINS, also at Artisan. Tevin loves dancing and performing, and he has earned his second degree black belt. He would like to thank his family and friends, and God for all His blessings! Special hug for my granddad--love you!
Hayden Cawood
Role: Peter Cratchet
Hayden is excited to be returning to the Artisan stage. He was last seen in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES as Moody Spurgeon. Hayden studies piano, acting, choir, and band at Travis Academy of Fine Arts. He would like to thank his family for their love and encouragement and the Artisan for the opportunity to be a part of SCROOGE. But above all, he would like to thank God for the talent and abilities He has given him. May this show bring Him glory! James 4:7.
Andrew Chard
Role: Jacob Marley
Andrew is enjoying being in his second show at Artisan after making his debut playing Mordred in CAMELOT. After performing in SC for 6 years, he moved to Dallas to pursue his career in acting after being cast in the U.S. premier of CLOSER TO HEAVEN by the Pet Shop Boys. He just recently closed DEBUTANTE WARRIORS which was played at the Eisemann center in Richardson.
Ciara Cimino
Role: Martha Cratchit
Ciara is ecstatic to be a part of this production. Her previous credits include ALICE IN WONDERLAND, HONK!, and MULAN all apart of Artisan’s Arties Playhouse. Her favorite role was a Spider in BABES IN TOYLAND! When not acting, she enjoys being with friends, playing softball, and listening to music. She would like to thank her wonderful Mother, her hardworking Father, and the Lord.
Kirk A. Corley
Role: Ghost of Christmas Present
Kirk just finished Joseph at Artisan. Earlier this year he was in CAMELOT. Mr. Corley appeared at the Pantaglieze Theatre in Fort Worth in their International Opening Gala the dueling roles of Jekyll & Hyde and in Repertory Company Theatre’s MISS SAIGON as Thuy. ONSTAGE in Bedford has welcomed him in their production of MAN OF LAMANCHE as well, Stolen Shakespeare Guild casting him as Falstaff in HENRY V. Some of the past shows included in the Kirk A. Corley scrapbook are Archibald Craven in THE SECRET GARDEN, Adam/Noah in Steven Schwartz classic CHILDREN OF EDEN. For 18 seasons he could also be seen in THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, TX and Branson, MO.

Tim is delighted to appear again on the Artisan stage. Recently he was Frank in OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS. Tim’s favorite roles include Elwood P. Dowd in HARVEY, Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Ralph Parker in A CHRISTMAS STORY, Matthew Cuthbert in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, Richard Maynard in MOON OVER BUFFALO, and Theo Van Gogh in the one-man play VINCENT. His day job is Director of Training at CAE SimCOM where they train corporate pilots to fly their airplanes. His full-time job is his family – wife Robin, children, and grandchildren – in whom he finds great delight and whom he thanks for allowing theatrical indulgences!
Christopher Dorf
Role: Tom Jenkins
Christopher is glad to be back on the Artisan stage after performing as Marius in LES MISERABLES. Some of his favorite roles include Ralphie in A CHRISTMAS STORY, Freddy in WILL ROGER’S FOLLIES, Little Kevin in TREEVO, and Lumiere in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Outside of theatre, Christopher is a commercial voice talent for Radio Disney. He enjoys leading worship for the youth on Wednesday nights and children on Sunday mornings at Abundant Life Church. Christopher would like to thank God for being so good to him and his parents for driving him to rehearsals! "Thank you very very very much....!"
Madeline Duff
Role: Mary
Madeline is in her fourth play at the Artisan Center Theater. Her other performances include Lillian in BELLES ON THEIR TOES and Jane Andrews in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. This is her second Christmas play, after A CHRISTMAS CAROL MIRACLE at Creative Arts Theater and School (CATS). She thanks The Lord for allowing her to perform, her mom for pushing her to excel, and her family for supporting her.
Michael D. Durington

Michael is pleased to be back at his 2nd home…the Artisan stage. His face should be familiar to many ACT patrons, having played many roles including his favorites as Uncle Max (SOUND OF MUSIC), Marcellas Washburn (MUSIC MAN), Albert Peterson (BYE, BYE BIRDIE) and Sparky (FOREVER PLAID). He hopes that you enjoy the show and that you keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart every day of the year.
Alan Earl
Role: Young Ebenezer/Nephew
Alan says SCROOGE marks his 13th production on the Artisan stage with PHANTOM being the most recent. He is excited to once again be playing the role of Scrooge's nephew in this Christmas classic having performed the role last year in A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Repertory Company Theater. Other favorite roles include Freddy Einsford-Hill in MY FAIR LADY, Tom Coterel in THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES, and Bandleader Hartley in TITANIC. Alan wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and hopes we can all remember the reason for the season.
Wilson Garrett

Wilson is ecstatic to be a part of this production. Some of his previous credits include playing Harrold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN, also being in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF all at JOY Academy. He likes to play Guitar, Bass, Ukulele and drums and writes his own music. He would like to Thank his family, Mrs. Roberts and Jesus Christ for blessing him with the gift to act.
Brayden Gerdes

Brayden is 9 years old and is in the 4th Grade. He likes to draw cartoons and play his instruments. He has been in Arties productions for the past year. His favorite part was playing Gus in Artie Production of CINDERELLA. “Merry Christmas, and God Bless Everyone!”
C.E. Gerdes

C.E. is happy to join his children (all Artisan veterans) and his wife in this his first role at Artisan. C.E.’s stage time has been limited mostly to choral performances although he has appeared in several high school and church plays and musical productions. He would like to thank his kids and wife for “making” him audition for SCROOGE, and to Eve Roberts and DeeAnn Blair for giving him this opportunity! His prayer is that you will come to know Jesus as the “Reason for the Season”.

Cortlin is 6 years old. She is homeschooled. She has enjoyed being in Arties shows for the past year. Her first show was SNOW WHITE. Her favorite role has been playing Perlea in CINDERELLA. She wishes you all a Merry Christmas!
Michelle Gerdes
Role: Ethel Cratchit
Michelle is the mom of four highly active children. For the past 15 years has been starring in the role of "Mother" in the Gerdes family. This has offered vast experience in perfecting her role for Mrs.Cratchit tonight. This is her first and last production with the Artisan Theater. She is a writer and is working on two musicals, one based on the hit TV drama Monk, and the other a take-off of the long running television sit-com Seinfeld. When she retires at the end of this run, she hopes to spend more time playing Tetris and cleaning house.
Morgan Gerdes
Role: Bess
Morgan recently was in JOSEPH/DREAMCOAT and CATS as Jennyanydots. She is extremely excited to make SCROOGE her 8th Artisan show. Her favorite credits include Factory Girl #5 in LES MISERABLE and CINDERELLA as the Fairy Godmother. She enjoys Singing, Dancing, and Reading. She thanks her parents for dragging her to rehearsals and supporting her.
Parker Gerdes
Role: Martha Cratchit
Parker is 13 years old and loves to dance, sing and play her instruments. She has participated in Artie shows for a year. Her first performance was the white rabbit in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Her favorite role to play was Quaxo in the Artisan Broadway Summer Camp production of CATS. She can also be seen at the Artisan for the Arties production of MULAN. She is glad she talked her parents into auditioning for SCROOGE.
Katy Hill
Role: Miss Dilber
Katy is elated to be a part of her 2nd show at Artisan Center Theater, after appearing in PHANTOM as a First Nighter/Acolyte. She was also seen as Ruth in PIRATES OF PENZANCE at Uptown Theatre in Grand Prairie. When not acting she is reading, crocheting, and playing with her cats. She would like to thank her husband for supporting her love of theatre.
Jackie Holt

Jackie is happy to be back on the Artisan stage. Her last performance was as Marilla Cuthbert in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, a New Musical. Her favorite roles have been Mother Superior in NUNSENSE, Edwina Holcomb in RUNNING IN THE RED, and Doris in DAMN YANKEES. She is the wife of the best man on earth, mother to 6 wonderful people and grandmother of 5 brilliant children. She has a BA in Accounting and a BFA in Fine Arts/Performance. “Thank you to all involved in this show. I relish the opportunity to meet our newer actors and treasure the opportunity to work with old friends. Thank you, Dale, for letting me play.”

Meredith says you've probably seen her in the audience as much as onstage! Recently in SOUND OF MUSIC (Sister Sophia) and ANNIE (Miss Hannigan) at Artisan...also appeared in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, MUSIC MAN and CINDERELLA. When she is not onstage, she is backstage crocheting! Merry Christmas to all!
Andrew Johnson
Role: Tiny Tim Cratchit
Andrew is absolutely thrilled at the chance to be such a timeless character. Many thanks to Artisan for the privilege. This is his debut theater performance, and he loves every minute. Outside of Artisan, he can be seen on the soccer field, on a basketball court, and spending time with his family. He hopes we will all remember the message of SCROOGE; and of course, "God Bless us everyone."
Cheryl King

Cheryl is thrilled to be making her fourth appearance at Artisan. She was last seen as Carlotta in PHANTOM! and Miss Hannigan in ANNIE. Other credits include ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (Annie), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Chava), OKLAHOMA! (Laurie), 45 MINUTES FROM BROADWAY (Mary), SOUTH PACIFIC (Nellie), CINDERELLA (Fairy Godmother) and many more! She holds a Bachelor of Music from The University of Texas, where she majored in Vocal Performance. She taught elementary music and theatre arts for many years before ‘redirecting’ in 2008. She wants to thank DeeAnn and Eve for this amazing opportunity!

Laura is thrilled to be back onstage for her 10th Artisan production. Laura was last seen as Lily St. Regis in Artisan's production of ANNIE. Past favorite roles include Caroline Bingley in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, Pitti-Sing in THE MIKADO, Sister Leo in NUNSENSE, Joy in CINDERELLA, Annelle in STEEL MAGNOLIAS and Martha in THE ARK. Laura is a 2006 graduate of Texas Christian University and is currently a school nurse for the HEB ISD. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the amazing Artisan Theater for their encouragement and support. Nancy is very excited to be in her first production at Artisan Theater Center. She is currently a Music Education major at University of Texas at Arlington, and has been involved in singing in choir for many years as well as having been a part of her high school’s production of FOOTLOOSE. Amanda is thrilled to make her debut with Artisan! She was most recently seen onstage in ANYTHING GOES with Stolen Shakespeare Guild and in 11 shows at Hip Pocket Theatre. Amanda majored in dance at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC and enjoys dancing, choreographing, writing and working with children. Mary has been involved in all aspects of theater for over 40 years, including writing, acting, stage manager, props, lighting and directing. She recently appeared in Artisan’s productions of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, THE SOUND OF MUSIC and HELLO, DOLLY. Other rolls include Sophie in STAR SPANGLED GIRL, Grandma Zeitel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Morgan Le Fey in CAMELOT and a Pick-a-Little lady in THE MUSIC MAN. Thanks to DeeAnn and Rick Blair for the wonderful family theater that is Artisan and to DeeAnn and Eve for the opportunity to appear in this classic musical. Travis Miller

Travis would like to thank DeeAnn and Eve for the opportunity to join his wife Mary and daughter Christianne in the cast of SCROOGE. This is his sixth production at the Artisan Theater, having appeared in OKLAHOMA!, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, PHANTOM, THE SOUND OF MUSIC and HELLO, DOLLY. Travis is a veteran of the stage with over 40 years of experience. Some of his favorite roles have been Tevye in Trinity UMC’s production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Jacob in Theater Arlington’s production of JOSEPH AND HIS AMAZING TECHNICOLORED DREAMCOAT, Marrying Sam in Gregton UMC’s production of LIT’L ABNER, The King in the Dallas Children’s Theater production of SLEEPING BEAUTY, Benjamin Franklin in Longview Community Theater’s production of 1776 and Big Daddy in Longview Community Theater’s production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.

Julie is happy to be on the stage at Artisan for the fourth time. She was recently seen as Aunt Josephine in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, HELLO DOLLY, and PHANTOM. In the little spare time she has, she likes to sew and make jewelry. Mucho thanks to friends and family.
Lauren Morgan
Role: Isabella/Hellen
Lauren has been in many Artisan productions including BRIGADOON, THE MUSIC MAN, MIKADO, MY FAIR LADY, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. Lauren was in Artisan’s first production of SCROOGE in 2003, playing the very same part as tonight. She has also performed with Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Lyric Stage, Theatre Arlington, Fort Worth Opera and Plano Repertory Theatre. Lauren sends her love to Jason and Westley.
Billy Myers
Role: Ghost of Christmas Present
Billy is very excited to return to the Artisan stage with his daughters, Maddy and Noe, and for the first time, his son, Jonathan. Recently, Billy was seen in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, PHANTOM, and in SOUTH PACIFIC as Luther Billis. His other acting credits include THE PROMISE in Glen Rose. Above all, Billy would like to thank Jesus Christ, the reason for the season. (John 15:13)
Jonathan Myers
Role: Urchin
Jonathan has been in THE PROMISE for three years. He loves playing a shepherd. He has also played in MOUNTAINTOP MEMORIES. He is learning to play the piano and started baseball this season. He is so excited to get to perform at Artisan, like his sisters, Maddy & Noe and dad, Billy.
Maddy Myers
Role: Child shopping/Toy Ballet
Maddy has been in several productions including: THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, PHANTOM at the Artisan and DON’T SAY NO TO THE U.S.O. with a home school drama group. Her favorite role was playing Cassandra in CATS. She plays two instruments: guitar and piano. She likes reading and crafts as well. She is thankful to her fantastic and marvelous parents for their fabulous driving her to rehearsals.
Noe Myers

Noe is excited to be in Scrooge. She has been in THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, PORRIDGE GATE with a home school drama group, and CATS at the Artisan. Her favorite role is Coricopatin in CATS. She likes playing drums. She also enjoys singing and dancing.
Joshua Noel

Joshua has been performing illusions since he was 5 years old. When he isn’t creating illusions, he enjoys performing at Artisan. Some of his credits include playing Charlie in WILLY WONKA JR., PRINCE CASPIAN and HANSEL AND GRETEL. He would like to thank his parents, his voice teacher, Tammie Philips, and God.
Kevin Ortega
Role: Urchin
Kevin was recently seen in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES at Artisan Center Theater. He is a dancer and also a funny guy. He likes to listen to music and dance. He would like to thank his mom for supporting him in many ways, and the director for giving him the chance for being in this wonderful production.
Tori Beth Pilcher
Role: Chestnut Seller
Tori made her Artisan debut in PRINCE CASPIAN earlier this year and is excited to return for SCROOGE. She also appeared in the Tafa Players production of GODSPELL. Her hobbies include singing, drawing, video, cooking and reading.
Halsey Poteet
Role: Phantom 3
Halsey is excited to be a part of her second show at Artisan. Along with Artisan’s BRIGADOON last year, Halsey has also performed in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: RADIO SHOW, and PLAY ON! As Violet/Diana with Bridgeport’s Off 380 Players, as well as FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, and THE MUSIC MAN with Decatur’s JOY Christian Academy. She has been incredibly blessed and would like to thank the cast, crew, directors, her family and God for all of this and more.

Caroline is very excited to be in the show. She has been many Artisan productions including BRIGADOON, OKLAHOMA. She has also been in many Artie’s Playhouse productions as well as main stage. She enjoys acting at the Artisan, playing the violin, and hanging out with friends.
Mary Claire Probasco
Role: Jen
Mary Claire is 7 and really likes being a part of shows. Some of her favorite roles are an oompa loompa in WILLY WONKA and Gretl in the SOUND OF MUSIC, and a little girl in BRIGADOON. She likes to ride her bike, play with her sisters, and draw. She would like to thank John Wilkerson for casting her in BRIGADOON, her first "big" show.
Burl Proctor
Role: Ebenezer Scrooge
Burl is a retired teacher, retired USAF pilot and Vietnam veteran. He is a 2011 Column Award nominee and has received acting awards from various DFW theatrical organizations and European-American Forces Theater. He is a producer and actor in independent TV, commercial films/videos and dinner theater and has performed in eighteen North Texas theaters. This is his second show at Artisan having just finished OVER THE RIVER as Nunzio. Some other favorite roles include Henry Drummond in INHERIT THE WIND, Atticus Finch in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Judge Turpin in SWEENEY TODD, and Benjamin Franklin in 1776.

Michelle Roberts
Role: Child shopping/Toy Ballet
Michelle is 10 years old, lives in Decatur, Texas and loves her new Papillion puppy. She is the product of a family who loves the theater and it has really rubbed off on her too! She has been an extra and made several cameo appearances in many shows. She was most recently seen as the daughter of an Iowa Stubborn family in THE MUSIC MAN JR.
Carroll Savage
Role: Urchin
Carroll is so loving this show. He has been in THE MONKEY AND THE JELLYFISH, CATS, and WILLY WONKA JR. at Artisan. In CATS Carrol played Bustopher Jones, Hats and talking person in SPOONERIZEMS. He would like to thank his directors, loving parents, and Jesus Christ.
Victoria Savill
Role: Phantom Skater
Victoria is very excited to be part of her third Artisan Show, SCROOGE THE MUSICAL! Some of her acting credits include SOUND OF MUSIC, PRINCE CASPIAN, YANKEE DOODLE DANDIES and BERENSTAIN BEARS. Victoria enjoys ballet, singing, guitar and piano. She would like to thank all her friends and family for all their support.
Brian Sears
Role: Young Ebenezer/Harry
Brian wants to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! He is excited to be part of SCROOGE as Young Scrooge and Harry. Brian’s other shows include PHANTOM, SOUND OF MUSIC, SOUTH PACIFIC, ANNIE, BRIGADOON, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS. Jenny Sears
Role: Mrs. Pringle
Jenny is excited to be involved in another Artisan show with her husband and daughter. Jenny has performed in SOUTH PACIFIC, PHANTOM, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS. Jenny would like to thank the cast and leadership at Artisan for another heartwarming family friendly show. Jenny hopes that everyone has a wonderful Christmas with time to spend with family and friends.
Shelby Sears
Role: Phantom 2
Shelby is thrilled to fly through the air as a Phantom in SCROOGE. She has also performed in PHANTOM, SOUTH PACIFIC, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS. Outside of Artisan, Shelby has had such roles as Grandma Tzeitel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Dr.Strauss in FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON, tech for HAMLET, and Silly Girl in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Shelby is excited for the holiday season and wishes all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Chris Seil
Role: Bissett the Butcher/Props
Chris appears in his 30th show, his 16th at Artisan. He performed the male lead role (Father Ten Boom) in THE WEAVING, a drama/dance production about WWII heroine Corrie TenBoom at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on Broadway in New York City. Other favorite roles include Captain Brackett in SOUTH PACIFIC, Froggy LeSueur in THE FOREIGNER, Colonel McKean in 1776 and Mercier in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. He will be directing THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK at Harwood Junior High in Bedford this February. He serves on the Artisan Board of Directors.
Brandon Shreve
Role: Young Ebby / Urchin / Boy on Sled
Brandon is 12 years old and has been acting since he was 4. He is excited to be in his 11th mainstage production at Artisan. Some of his favorite roles include Dill in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Gavroche in LES MISERABLES, and Kurt in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. He has also performed in 15 Artie's Playhouse productions at Artisan. Performances at other theaters include Colin in THE SECRET GARDEN at Casa Manana, Louis in THE KING AND I, and Children's Chorus in CARMEN, Fort Worth Opera at Bass Hall. Brandon loves performing and the family friendly environment at Artisan. He thanks God for his many blessings!
Lauren Smith
Role: Ghost of Christmas Past
Lauren is overjoyed to be a part of SCROOGE! Other credits include playing Lady Bracknell in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and also THE MUSIC MAN JR. both with the JOY Drama Group. When not acting or quoting all of The Lord of the Rings trilogy movies, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, blogging, watching movies and playing piano. She would like to thank her amazing family and all her friends, and Mrs. Roberts, the best director EVER!!
Mary Strauss
Role: Belinda Cratchit
Mary is very excited to be in her second Main Stage show at Artisan. She was recently seen in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Marta). She also had a blast in the Artie's production of WILLY WONKA JR. (Matilda / Oompa Loompa) over the summer. She would like to thank Ms. DeeAnn Blair and Ms. Eve Roberts for giving her the opportunity to be in such a fun show. She would also like to thank her mom and dad for supporting her and driving her to rehearsals; and, finally, her little brother, Christian, for not complaining too much when he had to sit and watch rehearsals, too.

Jameson is excited to be in Artisan’s production of SCROOGE! His previous credits include MUSIC MAN JR and playing John Worthing in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST both at JOY Christian Academy. Other than acting and making his friends laugh with his improv, Jameson enjoys reading, movies and hanging out with friends. He would like to thank Mrs. Roberts for providing him with so many opportunities to pursue theatre.

Collin is excited to be on main stage with so many of his theater friends. Previously, he was on main stage as Young Erik in PHANTOM. He just completed the Artie’s production of MULAN playing the role of the Chi-Fu. He has also performed in several other Artie’s productions including DOROTHY AND THE WIZARD as The Cowardly Lion and BABES IN TOYLAND playing the villainous Barnaby. Other credits include GODSPELL and THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER at the Cottage Theatre. He would like to thank his family for their support.
Tyler Vaden
Role: Phantom 1
Tyler is excited to be a part of SCROOGE. She loves dancing and singing at Artisan and this year has appeared in HELLO DOLLY, PRINCE CASPIAN, and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. She fell in love with Andrew Lloyd Webber while playing Mr. Mistoffellees in CATS this summer. Tyler loves playing evil stepmothers and had the chance to perfect her evilness during the musical theater class production of ENCHANTED and the Artie’s Playhouse production of DISNEY’S CINDERELLA. A big thank you to everyone at Artisan for providing these wonderful opportunities.
Nancy Waak

Nancy is proud to be cast in her third role at Artisan. Nancy has been a familiar face at Artisan for the past nine years doing the props for most shows. She is pleased to be working with DeeAnn, this time on the stage. She would like to thank her family and a special love to Lucy.

Traysa is happy to be in this production of SCROOGE. She was last seen in BRIGADOON and THE MIKADO at Artisan. Some of her past shows include RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN’S CINDERELLA, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF AND SLEEPING BEAUTY. Outside of theatre, she teaches Violin and enjoys playing in a local Orchestra.

Victoria is honored to be a part of this great production! A few of her favorite shows at Artisan include BELLES ON THEIR TOES as Lillian, BRIGADOON, and a particular favorite of hers was ANNE OF GREEN GABLES as Josie Pye. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and volunteering at Gateway Church. Victoria would like to thank her family, Artisan, and all the cast and crew of SCROOGE; but most of all she expresses her thanks to her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ!
Mark Winter
Role: Ebenezer Scrooge
Mark is returning to the Artisan stage for the fourth time this year, having previously played in CAMELOT, PHANTOM and PROPOSALS. For the past 12 years, Mark has played various roles in the capacity of a drama evangelist through his traveling ministry, One Man Show. He would like to thank DeeAnn and Eve for the wonderful opportunity of playing the iconic role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Nathaniel is excited to play three parts in SCROOGE. His other acting credits include Henry, in the movie SYBIL LUCINGTON and Brady in NEW, both with Kicks Ministry. His last performance was as Maliki in the school production of WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE.

Alexis is excited to be a part of SCROOGE THE MUSICAL. She's appeared in ANNIE at Artisan Theater, ALADDIN at ONSTAGE in Bedford, BERENSTAIN BEARS at CATS Theater and many other shows. Alexis plans on becoming a Theater Director and her dream is to be on Broadway.
DeeAnn Blair
Role: Co-Director
DeeAnn is a founding director of Artisan and a former managing/artistic director at ONSTAGE. She has produced over 150 plays since moving to Fort Worth 17 years ago. In a time when she wasn’t so involved in running a theater, she loved performing in such plays as ARSENIC AND OLD LACE (Elaine Harper), HEAVEN CAN WAIT (Julia Farnsworth), THE CURIOUS SAVAGE (Fairy May), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Maria), JOSEPH AND THE …. (Narrator), and many others. At Artisan she directed THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, THE ARK, and THE MUSIC MAN.
Eve Roberts
Role: Co-Director
Eve and her husband and two children live in Decatur. She graduated from Texas Tech University. Eve had a 16-year career with Southwestern Bell, was a teacher at a Missionary School in Bolivia, the Abstinence Director and Executive Director for the PRC in Wise County, and is currently Fine Arts Director and Drama Instructor at JOY Christian Academy in Decatur. Eve is thrilled to co-direct this show with Dee Ann Blair. One of her true loves is the stage. Eve loves working with people and seeing how they can use their God-given talents to produce wholesome entertainment for the community to enjoy.
Adam Livingston
Role: Mr. Fezziwig/Stage Manager
Adam is back on Artisan stage after a brief hiatus from the DFW area. Some previous Artisan credits include SOUND OF MUSIC (Franz the Butler), PHANTOM! (Stage Manager/Co-Lighting Designer), PRINCE CASPIAN (Lighting Designer), CAMELOT (Squire Dap), TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD (Lighting Designer), OKLAHOMA! (Fred Lawton), LES MISERABLES (Lighting Designer), and his debut in BRIGADOON (Stage Manager). Starting in January, Adam is going to school to receive his teaching certificate in History, Theatre Arts and Speech. He would like to thank the Molina family for taking him into their home until he finds a job to get his feet under him. He would also like to thank DeeAnn and Eve for not only trusting him on stage, but also in the tech booth!!! Have an amazing December the 25th and a Happy New Year!!!!
Richard Gwozdz
Role: Musical Director
Richard is from Fort Worth, Texas, has been in music since his mom slapped him when he was 8 years old. While with Texas Boy’s Choir sang for President Kennedy, Ed Sullivan Show, Perry Como Show, Grammy Award recordings, toured the United States and Europe. He is currently Music Director at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas, Consumer Affairs for the USPS, and pianist at Italian Inn in Fort Worth. He was nominated for the Column’s Best Music Director Award twice and won two ONY awards for Best Music Director. He has never won a single thing playing McDonald‘s Monopoly Game. Richard would like to thank the cast and production crew for putting up with his opinions. Enjoy SCROOGE, THE MUSICAL!
Rebecca Roberts
Role: Mary/Costume Designer
Rebecca is 17 years old. She has had a love and involvement in theatre for quite some time and a variety of experiences behind the scenes as well as on stage. Some of her favorite roles have been, Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN, Cecily Cardew in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and Title Role in SNOW WHITE. She spent this summer at CASA Manana, as Production Intern. She enjoys sewing, reading, blogging and all things musical. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to help costume this production and hopes you enjoy this incredible story about the redemption of man.
Jennifer Leyva
Role: Choreographer
Jennifer is so happy to choreographing again at the Artisan! Her love of dance began at the age of three and has taken her across the globe and home again. Originally from Oklahoma City, OK, Jennifer has trained for over 34 years as a performer, teacher and choreographer. Her previous choreography credits include THE MUSIC MAN, CAMELOT, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, PHANTOM, and MULAN, JR. Jennifer was also a performer in HELLO DOLLY, THE LION THE WITH AND THE WARDROBE, and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD with her amazing family of whom she is so proud.
