Anne of Green Gables
July 8 - July 30
SYNOPSIS - Musical
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, adapted from the book of the same name by L.M. Montgomery, is about a delightful, unpredictable redheaded girl named Anne Shirley. It is a classic in literature that has delighted readers of all ages since 1908 and is also the first in a series of books about Anne.
The Cuthberts of Green Gables had decided to adopt an orphan – a nice sturdy boy to help Matthew with the farm chores. The orphanage sent a girl instead – an inquisitive, talkative redhead who’d be no use at all. She would have to go back. But the longer Anne was there, the more no one could imagine Green Gables without her.
