Who is Artisan Center Theater?

Artisan Center Theater is the largest community theater in the DFW area.  We have approximately 50,000 patrons annually and close to 300 performances each year.  Artisan sees patrons from the DFW area all year long never breaking between shows for more than 10 days.

A recent study shows that the national economic impact of the arts in 2005 exceeded $160 billion.  It created 5.7 million full-time equivalent jobs and over $104 billion in household income.  The cultural arts industry has a significant impact on local businesses due to event related spending by its attendees.  They may pay for parking, purchase dinner at a restaurant, eat dessert after the show, purchase a souvenir, return home and pay the babysitter.
