William BartellWilliam Bartell (Elf/Child at Macy’s/Ensemble) is making his Artisan debut. He is an eighth grader at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts where he performed with the Texas Boys Choir for the last four years. A veteran of Kids Who Care Musical Theatre, he has also appeared in Amphibian Stage Productions’ of HERSHEL AND THE HANUKKAH GOBLINS, Trinity Shakespeare Festival’s A WINTER’S TALE and RICHARD III, and PASTRY KING at the Wyly Theatre.
Hayden BeatyHayden Beaty (Michael) is delighted to return to Artisan’s main stage. Some of his favorite previous roles include Mush in NEWSIES, George in SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK, Simba in LION KING, JR., all performed at Artisan, and JoJo in NEWSIES at MTD. When not at the theater, he enjoys dancing, watching sports and playing with his little brother. He would like to thank Cody Walker for always believing in him and Elizabeth, Jill, and Richard for this opportunity. MaKayla BurrisMaKayla Burris (Tiara/Ensemble) is thrilled to make her first Artisan Center Theater debut in ELF! She has also been in the musical ANNIE as July. Before doing theatre, she competed in gymnastics and cheer. She would like to thank her family and friends for putting up with her and being so supportive. Abigail and her family have been involved with Artisan for eight years, mostly working with the children’s theater. Piper DanielPiper Annabelle Daniel (Charlotte Dennon/Ensemble/Dance Captain) has performed at the Artisan since she was 7 and has definitely made it to the nice list of shows. Some borderline “naughty” roles you may have seen her as Elsa in FROZEN Jr and Tinkerbell in PETER PAN JR. She is ecstatic to be included as a Dance Captain for the show and is thankful to God for the talent she gets to share with you. Have a super holiday with loads of hugs and hot cocoa!
Evelyn DavisEvelyn Davis (Elf/Child at Macy's) is a nine-year-old sweetheart who has always been bigger than life! She loves her family, singing, dancing and all things famous! This is her first time to be in an Artisan show and she could not be more excited!
Emma DewbreEmma Dewbre (Elf) has attended Artisan classes for 2 years, and has appeared in class presentations of WINNIE THE POOH, ALADDIN JR, and CINDERELLA JR. She has also been a member of her elementary school choir for the past 2 years. Emma would like to thank Artisan instructors Abi, Noel, Natalie, and Jenn, who have helped her learn and grow in her love for performing.

Bill EakinsBill Eakins (Greenway/Fake Santa #3) has been seen in previous roles, such as Mordka in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (2005), various characters in BYE BYE BIRDIE (2005), Uncle Silas in BIG RIVER (2005), and Dr. Harper in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE with Dorothy Sanders. Bill brought his grandsons to see ANNIE in 2004, and found out Artisan was going to do FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, which was the last show he was in at Texas Wesleyan, in 1973.
Hayley EwerzHayley Ewerz (Jovie) is making her Artisan Theater debut! A native Texan, Hayley spent the last 7 years performing in Seattle. Favorite holiday roles include: a Jingle Belle Dancer in SNOWFLAKE LANE (a nightly Christmas parade), Mrs. Cratchit in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and a Christmas Fairy at the Seattle airport, welcoming holiday travelers by performing short dances, passing out gifts, and spreading Christmas cheer. Jack FranklinJack Franklin (Charlie/Ensemble) has previously had the lead roles in his school productions of BIG BAD, ELF JR (Buddy), WILLY WONKA JR, and EBENEZER’S CHRISTMAS CAROL. This fall, he will be Olaf in FROZEN JR. He was Ralphie in Gateway Performing Arts' CHASING LIGHTS, in 2018. When he's not acting, he loves to read superhero comics and watch Star Wars movies. Connie GeorgeConnie George (Mrs. Claus/Ensemble) is happy to be back on the stage again, playing Mrs. Claus and other various roles. Connie enjoys sharing her talents both on and off stage. You may recognize her from her most recent role as Bunsen in NEWSIES at ACT, or her smiling face from Artisan's Box Office. This is Connie's 5th year and 9th production at Artisan. Connie wants to thank her friends, family, and church for sharing her with Artisan over the last 2-3 months, but most importantly, God, who has given her the heart of an entertainer and the ability to share that with others.
Emily GodwinEmily Godwin (Matthews/Ensemble) is a freshman and theater major at The University of North Texas and is very excited to perform in her Artisan Theater debut! Before this performance, Emily was in 17 productions at The Actors Conservatory Theater of Lewisville. Some of her favorite roles included: Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN, Marty in MADAGASCAR JR, Maureen in HONK JR, Mother Abbess in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Matthew GrandMatthew Grand (Michael) is excited to be returning to Artisan. Previously, he performed Mush in NEWSIES and Shenzi in LION KING JR at Artisan. He has performed 5 shows at Camp Shine including Prince Hans in FROZEN JR. Currently, Matthew studies musical theatre and dance at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and Texas Dance Conservatory. Jeston HaysJeston Hays (Santa Claus) returns to ACT for his second show, having appeared as Mr. Kirby in YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, this summer. Some of his favorite roles have been Greg in SYLVIA, Sir Lionel in CAMELOT, Uncle Jeff in MAME, and Young Ebenezer in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Oscar KincheloeOscar J. Kincheloe (Buddy) is excited to join Artisan for his first show! Previous credits include TOXIC AVENGER (White Dude), COMPANY (Paul), THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Lurch), GUYS AND DOLLS (Arvide), MACBETH (Porter), and HAMLET (Polonius). Oscar works full time as the Theatre Manager for LifeStage Theatre in Grapevine and has worked in children’s theater for upwards of 12 years at places such as Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, Dallas Children’s Theater, and Drama Kids International. Dustin ParkerDustin Parker (Walter/Fake Santa #2) is a local business owner with four children, all of whom participate in children’s theatre at Artisan. After spending so much time here with his children, his love of the stage returned and he auditioned for OKLAHOMA in 2018, and to his surprise got a part! Dustin also enjoys traveling with his wife, Alicia, and playing golf.
Omega PriddyOmega Priddy (Ensemble) Performing as a member in the ensemble, Omega is very excited to be part of ELF. Being a performer has always been a huge passion of hers, especially when it comes to singing. She plans to be on stage for most of her life in the hopes of changing the world through music and storytelling, and has been for 12 years. Her first show at Artisan was THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, while her most recent was THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. Isaiah RobinsonIsaiah Robinson (Ensemble) is 14 years old and is very excited to be in his very first Main Stage production! You may have seen him this past summer in his first Artisan production, SHREK THE MUSICAL JR, as the Big Bad Wolf. He also played the Big Bad Wolf in SHREK at Theatre Arlington. Isaiah is in choir, theatre, football, wrestling, and track at Lamar High School. He would like to thank his family for supporting him. Andy is an avid comic book enthusiast who has 5+ years of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under his belt, earning a brown belt in BJJ.

Other shows Bex has been seen are THE PROMISE, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, and various school performances with TAFA. He graduated from high school last year and is currently taking a gap year working at Starbucks as a barista. Bex would like to thank Mom, who instilled a love of theatre and Grandma, for feeding him ramen noodles and spaghetti throughout his childhood.

Since then, Jakob has been working hard in school, and is currently in his second year of college. Taking years off to pursue her career as a sign language interpreter, get married, and have two beautiful children, Jorilyn is excited to make her way back to the stage! She enjoyed the challenge of learning to tap dance for this show. She would like to thank her husband for being so supportive during rehearsals and helping out with the kids.
Maria WasilewskiMaria Wasilewski (Chadwick/Ensemble) is ecstatic to make her debut into musical theater. She has been singing and dancing since a young age and is excited to combine those interests in Artisan's production of ELF THE MUSICAL. She served as president of the University of Dallas Irish dance team while pursuing her B.A. in history. Off stage her time is spent working with her excellent accounting team, consuming useless knowledge, and spending time with friends and family.

Elizabeth KirklandElizabeth Kirkland (Director) is ecstatic to work with the wonderful cast and crew at Artisan. Recent directing credits include THE LIAR at Brevard College in North Carolina, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at Shine Performing Arts, AS YOU LIKE IT with Shakespeare Dallas and Bakkhai, AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS, LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL, I GELOSI, and WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT A PRESENTATION... at The University of Alabama. She has served as an Assistant Director on THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, THE PHILADELPHIA STORY, APPROPRIATE, DOUBT, and SEMELE. Elizabeth has also worked as a Playwright and Director with IMPROBABLE FICTIONS in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she focused on medieval drama. She has apprenticed at Bread and Puppet Theatre and attended Directors Lab North in Toronto, Canada. Elizabeth has a BA in Theatre from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MFA in Directing from The University of Alabama. She is a member of Intimacy Directors International, The National Opera Association, and maintains an associate membership with the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
Jill Lightfoot (Choreographer) is pleased to work with the wonderful cast and crew of ELF. As well as choreographing, she also directs, stage manages, and performs at various theaters in DFW. Richard GwozdzRichard Gwozdz (Music Director) is a church music director, maintenance secretary, and  also a pianist for a local restaurant. Richard has received two ONY awards as Best Music Director, Column Award for Best Music Director Equity for Artisan's THE LITTLE MERMAID, and  the 2016 DFW Theater Critics Forum Orchestral Conducting Award. ELF locations are North Pole and New York, which reminds him of ICE. Richard has played the organ at CHL ICE Hockey Games, NHL Exhibition ICE Hockey Games, the USA vs USSR ICE hockey game on ESPN, and the Celebrity ICE Hockey Game. Enjoy this story of ELF THE MUSICAL!
Jeff WatsonJeff Watson (Stage Manager) retired last November after a 40-year career in entertainment, the last 25 as a stage manager and director. A glutton for punishment, now manages stages part-time for Artisan. His previous show this season was ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. Jeff lives in Fort Worth with his bride of 35 years, two boys in their 30's, and a menagerie of critters. He is grateful to his lovely wife for letting him out at night to come play with his friends.
Phillip SmithPhillip Smith (Asst. Stage Manager) is thrilled to help out on this show. Previous shows that he has worked behind the scenes include THE LITTLE MERMAID, NEWSIES, and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. She has also worked in the wardrobe department with Cirque du Soleil: Amaluna.
