Acting Classes

ACTING 1 – Beginning Acting – Mondays, 4:00pm-4:50pm
(Ages 6-7)
Location: Artisan Rehearsal Hall, 1101 Royal Parkway Suite 115, Euless TX 76040
Your child will be exposed to the world of theater through a variety of games, activities, and creative play. Students will work together as a team and explore their imaginations as they participate in this class. ENROLL NOW

ACTING 2 – Beginning/Intermediate Acting – Mondays, 5:00pm – 5:50pm
(Ages 8-12) Instructor: Tonya Wilson-Brown

Students will learn acting techniques through a variety of theater games and exercises. Pantomime, improvisation, character analysis, and scene study will all be covered. ENROLL NOW

ACTING 4 – Advanced Acting – Wednesdays, 4:00pm-4:50pm
(Ages 8-12) Instructor: Natalie Berry
Location: Artisan Center Theater, 418 E. Pipeline Rd. Hurst, TX 76053
Prerequisite: Requires audition to be enrolled. In this advanced class, your child will build upon previous acting classes to develop their acting skills. They will be instructed in character analysis, body and voice, and auditioning techniques.ENROLL NOW

ACTING 5 – Acting for Teens – Tuesdays, 5:00pm – 5:50pm
(Ages 13-18) Instructor: Lark Wallis-Johnston

This class will allow teens to study acting through improvisation, theater games, teamwork building exercises, character analysis, and scene analysis. Your teen will be stretched in a fun and safe environment in a place where their talent can shine. ENROLL NOW

ACTING CLASSES FOR PRESCHOOLERS:

Young children will be introduced to theater and performing arts through games, activities, and creative play. The primary purpose of creative drama is to foster personality growth and to facilitate learning for the participants. Participation in creative drama has the potential to develop language and communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and creativity; to promote a positive self-concept, social awareness, empathy, a clarification of values and attitudes, and an understanding of the art of theater. INFANT CREATIVE LEARNING  – First Thursday of each month, beginning February 9, 2012, 10:00am-11:00am
(Ages Infants Birth-12 mos.)
