Theater-In-Education

Artisan’s exciting Theater-in-Education program uses theatrical performances to aid in the educational process and to encourage discussion of important topics and themes with the children of our community.

Through music and live plays presented at elementary and middle schools throughout Tarrant County, TAKS-required knowledge and skills are reinforced. Original theatrical performances are presented in fun and memorable ways in order to assist students with skill and knowledge retention.

Each show comes complete with student coloring posters, souvenirs and study guides to assist teachers in classroom discussions!

Be Safe Kids

Theme: Safety
Approx. 30 min.

Safety Kids® is a musical production in which boys & girls learn in a non-threatening way about personal safety and how to protect themselves from the dangers of kidnapping, drugs and abuse. Through captivating music and storytelling, children learn and memorize the rules of personal safety. This is a vitally important program professionally presented with music and dance to insure that each child receives valuable training for their personal safety. The production of Safety Kids® has been endorsed by government leaders, medical professionals, parent’s organizations and leading child psychologists.

Sir Courage and the Dragon Bully

Theme: Anti-Bullying
Approx. 35 min.

It is the Middle Ages, and the evil dragon Firebreath is on the loose vandalizing villages, scaring serfs and victimizing vassels! With the help of the wise Hermit of the Hills and three valiant knights, students learn that courage, honesty and generosity can put a stop to bullying.
