ARTISAN ACTING ACADEMY is a series of classes designed to expose children and adults, ages 3 and up, to perform in a live theater setting. Develop your child’s potential to be a “triple threat” on the stage! A Triple Threat Performer is proficient in acting, dancing and singing. Classes at the Artisan Acting Academy focus on the 3 disciplines of musical theater to develop well-rounded performers who are confident on stage in all areas. With many class offerings to choose from, it’s easy to start your child on the road to become a triple threat!

Classes include: Audition Preparation, Musical Theater, Artisan Showchoir, Beginning and Advanced Acting, Dance and more!

Our Mission:

To provide a theater arts enrichment program for children that is positive, energizing, and fun!
To foster creativity and responsibility.
To encourage teamwork and personal integrity.
To build self-esteem and confidence.

Rules & Policies:

• Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your students. Artisan Center Theater does not assume responsibility for any child dropped off unattended.

• Please do not drop off your child(ren) more than 10 minutes before class begins.

• Please contact us at 817.284.1200 if you will be delayed in picking up your child due to an emergency, such as car trouble.

• Please have your child use the restroom before class begins.

• Parents may stay in the theater to observe the class during the first week of instruction but will be asked to remain outside during subsequent classes.

• Students will be asked to not chew gum during class.

• Tuition is due the first class of each month.

• Registration fees and Tuition are not refundable.

• Tuition is refunded in the event of a program cancellation.

• Students are expected to follow all rules of the theater and conduct themselves so that every class member is safe and treated with respect.

• Due to the ensemble nature of the class, parents are asked to notify the instructor ahead of time if their child is planning to be absent or tardy.

• Classes will follow the HEB school district calendar. If HEB has a school holiday, no class will be held. If the HEB school district is closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled and parents will be notified through email. Make-up classes will be held only in the case of a teacher absence, not for inclement weather.

• Tuition is due the first class of each month. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.
