AUDITION DATES: Monday, September 25, 2017 from 7–10pm and Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 7–10pm.


CALL BACKS: Callbacks (if necessary) will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 7–10pm.


LOCATION:  Artisan Center Theater at 444 East Pipeline Road, Hurst, Texas 76053.


REHEARSAL DATES: Rehearsals will begin Monday, October 2, 2017 and will generally be Monday through Friday evenings from 7–10pm and Saturdays from 9am–3pm.


PRODUCTION DATES: The production runs November 17–December 23, 2017. Performances are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30pm, with additional Saturday matinees at 3pm beginning November 25. No performance November 23. Most parts are double cast to accommodate scheduling.


AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS: Auditions are by appointment. Copy the following link onto browser and then make an appointment: Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show that best displays your vocal ability. An accompanist will be provided. Actors will be asked to cold read a monologue. There will be a dance audition immediately following the vocal auditions. Please bring a headshot/resume and your completed audition info found at If asked to return for a call back expect to read from the script and learn/sing a song from the show. 


Actors will be given six complimentary vouchers to be used during the first four performances, a season ticket (valid for one year) to be used during the first week of Main Stage productions, a show t-shirt and scene shots from the production.

ABOUT THE SHOW: With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.



ANNIE – A street-wise orphan; she is eventually taken in by Oliver Warbucks. Spunky, friendly, big-voiced.

ORPHANS – The other girls in the orphanage with Annie. These girls are gritty, neglected and vulnerable, yet basically honest and potentially loveable. Includes Molly, Kate, Tessie, Pepper, July, and Duffy.

SERVANTS – The servants at the Warbucks mansion. Includes Drake, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, and Annette.

MISS HANNIGAN – The orphanage matron who hates children but is fond of liquor. Very disillusioned, bitter, and cold.
