David Magaña (FDR/Dog Catcher/Man 1/Servant) has appeared in several Artisan productions, most recently in THE PIRATE QUEEN (Chieftain O’Flaherty). He previously appeared in Artisan productions of THE MIRACLE WORKER (Mr. Anagnos), THE SECRET GARDEN (Ben Weatherstaff), and THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER (Injun Joe). In college, David directed and wrote THE KEENAN REVUE, the renowned lampoon show staged annually at the University of Notre Dame. Some of David’s favorite performances include MARY, MARY (Bob McKellaway), and Neil Simon’s THE PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE (Mel Edison).

Her proudest moment in 3rd grade was rapping as Lin Manuel Miranda in the wax museum.

Shanah Sams (Mrs. Pugh/Man 4/Servant) became interested in musical theater at a young age, performing in small children's theater productions in her church, school, and hometown theater. In high school, she continued on into band, choir, and theater arts. She later went on to study music education at Hardin-Simmons and McMurry Universities, where her main focus was opera. Shanah has directed a number of children's choirs over the last decade, often writing music and skits for her students. This is her debut with Artisan Center Theater.

Rebekah is 17 and she is currently attending TCC pursuing her nursing degree to later become a physician assistant.

Connie SanchezConnie Sanchez (Co-Director) has directed 100+ productions. Director of the very special play THE MIRACLE WORKER and 2016 Artisan Best Play, Connie most recently directed the British comedy, SEE HOW THEY RUN, and was last seen as Sister Amnesia in the 2017 production of NUNSENSE, which she also co-directed with long-time friend, Kelvin Dilks. Connie and Kelvin also worked together on the Haltom High School production of ANNIE in 1992. A 1983 Texas Wesleyan graduate, Connie cherishes her 30-year teaching career (26 yrs. at Haltom High School) in Birdville ISD where she taught theatre (15 yrs.) and English (15 yrs.). Connie is thrilled to have some of her former Haltom theatre and English students, as well as actors from her previous Artisan shows in this production. It has also been thrilling for Connie to meet and work with so many other great actors on this wonderful musical. Kelvin DilksKelvin Dilks (Co-Director) is happy to help direct ANNIE with his former co-worker from Haltom High School, Connie Sanchez. Earlier this year, they directed NUNSENSE. In addition to these, he has acted in many Artisan productions including STATE FAIR, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN. In May, Kelvin was elected to serve on the Birdville ISD Board of Trustees.
Caity ShannonCaity Shannon (Stage Manager) is ecstatic to be a part of her second show at Artisan Theater. She has been in several other productions at her school, such as The Big Bad Wolf in FAIRY TALE LAW AND ORDER, Florence in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, and Viney in THE MIRACLE WORKER, as well as Stage Manager for SEE HOW THEY RUN, here at Artisan. She would like to thank her parents for their support.
Amy JonesAmy Elizabeth Jones (Choreographer) is delighted to be a part of ANNIE! Amy has been in many Artisan productions, including STATE FAIR, 42nd STREET, SEVEN BRIDES, GUYS AND DOLLS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and BIG FISH. Amy was the Director/Choreographer of the special event, CITY OF STARS, Assistant Director/Choreographer of THE PIRATE QUEEN, and Choreographer for countless other Artisan Main Stage musicals, the most recent being PHANTOM. Amy thanks her family for their love and support!
